I have an older Otter lodge the blue version not the new grey. I do like that Ram mount idea. I saw them on Amazon fairly cheap

I love my 8″ lite flite, smooth and fast cut. Like everyone has said you can’t go wrong with either one.

If it had some age to it and still running than it was definitely a Vexilar. You could always go with a vexilar FLX-12 it is easy to use and very affordable. Brushless unit so very quiet and colors are really bright. Also, the customer service at vexilar is the BEST.

Tried to sell my brother’s 8″ just like that on Craigslist. Couldn’t even get $100 for it. He just ended up giving it to a young relative that is just getting into ice fishing. Very hard to get rid off them nowadays. Good luck and hope you get something decent for it.

I keep buying Vexilar products because there customer service is awesome.

They replaced a cracked tri-beam for me a year ago. That sucks that they are not replacing them anymore. The customer service there is usually awesome.

100% agree with the last couple of posts. If upgrading to an flx model than I would go vexilar over marcum. Also, vexilar’s customer service and tech support are awesome.

Tried it once. Not bad in flavor but a bit mushy in texture. It was edible but I will stick to gills and crappie.

I love adding in Andouille Smoked Sausage. Gives it a great flavor.

Chicken and Waffles for me and my family Christmas Morning breakfast. Had family stay over Christmas eve and bought everything for Christmas dinner but nothing for breakfast. So we had no breakfast meats and only a couple eggs. We had some chicken in the freezer. My wife just got a waffle maker as a gift on Christmas eve. So it was a perfect storm. Done it the last 4 years

Love my ion x 8″. Had it since 2016 and nothing but great things to say. Since I bought a new Milwaukee drill I will be buying a strikemaster 6″ lite flite for jigging holes. I used my buddys 8″ lite flite last year and it cuts awesome. So really excited to see how fast and easy a 6″ cuts.

Awesome tip-downs. Might have to pick up a couple more for Xmas gifts.

$69 is a pretty cheap fix. Especially if it is running good. I have an ion X and love it. Hopefully by the time I need a new battery the price of them comes down. Going on year 3 with it so far.
