I’ve been doing it quite similar for years. I found if you are going to transport the fish(You must only have two fillet pieces per fish) leave the skin on until after removing Y bones. Also scrape bone ends with knife to make them easier to see.

I haven’t taken mine out in winter for 30 years and have had no problem.

I read the reason for closing the areas below the three dams for the winter months was that the small sauger died after release because of coming out of the deep cold water.

We have reserved 2 cabins and a camp site for AUG 5 to 12 at Indian Mounds Resort.

AUGUST 5 for a week. We need a resort with two available cabins, a camping spot, and will allow dogs on leash. My Son found Indian Mounds resort if it has available cabins and camping for that week it fits all those. My Son likes water skiing etc as well as fishing. My wife, Daughter and Daughter-in-Law like to be close to a larger town like Alexandria. I can’t get them to realize that when you go on a trip like that we don’t need to shop

I just wonder how the fishing (all species) is and what the lake is like.

I agree with the above. I am 60+ now and wish I had put a little more into the things I liked to do instead of work. If you worked full time all summer you deserve I few days off.

Don’t upset the BOSS, but tell him you are going hunting and you will give him 200% when you get back.

Maybe print this thread and show it to him and explain that is why your job is not your #1 priority.

Yahoo is very good to use if you are ordering something or signing up for something. I use Yahoo for all that stuff and get all kinds of junk in my bulk folder. I just empty the bulk without even looking at it. My regular email never has junk mail.
