I am past president of The Little Falls Fishing League.. We use a length grid to establish points rather than pounds(works well for catch and release). Teams can then fish for any species they prefer. For example a N Pike from 20-23″=1Pt 23-26″=2Pts etc. Walleye from 14-16=1Pt 16=18″=2Pt etc. Bass from 13-15″=1PT etc for all fish species you want to list. We restrict some species that have liberal limits such as crappies or rock bass to a certian # per evening. We award one “rough fish point” per evening for the largest rough fish of the evening. We also award attendence points just for showing up. Great way to enjoy the evening and see what species or fishermen are “hot” from week to week. We go to a different lake/river each week.
