Calvin I do feel sorry for you it happened to my brother 10 years ago we never found our fishing rods the guide said he packed them and when we got back to the boat launch at Catawba they were gone I do have a friend that works for the DNR and a creel census person I will notify him have him keep his eyes and ears open for you sorry for the loss
I posted this on the walley and sauger forum and didn’t get much info. I thought I would try this place. I Will be heading to big sand lake and I will be looking for walleyes. Never been there before so i am wondering if anyone can give me advice on where to fish and what seems to work best there. Any help would he greatly appreciated.
I grew up fishing on big Sand Lake there is a very small population of walleyes in that lake I would look at getting walleyes and maybe clam Lake or yellow lake in that area would be your closest bet
