Sorry I was unable to make it out to get the ice check been real busy at work lately trying to keep up with the Christmas rush.. Pretty much getting my handed to me..
But word around town is it is not very safe and again this year it may just be one of those years you might wanna know the lakes you tend to do some poking around on..

Bob there has been people walking out from the eastside. I have heard nothing and seen no tracks from the westside as of yet. I will try and get you a ice thickness tomorrow..

sorry guys new job has been taking its toll on me but now I am starting to get used to the hours and beggining to manage my time a bit to see the lake. I have been leaving for work well before the sunrises and not returning home til well past dark.
Will be on a bit more now once I adjust to these longer days of working..

Actually Jon Jordan hit the nail on the head. In the fishing industry PRO means promotion that is why every pro we see in the fishing circuit is pretty much a billboard of advertisements. Plain and simple. They are promoting the items of the sponsors that paid there way to get where they are. Now do understand that not all sponsors pay in cash some may give rods,fish line, tackle of all different types and or electronics.

Panfish are biting one of my neighbors fishes it a couple times a week. As for the northern you will have luck there too from what I been seeing and hearing over there. Need more info feel free to PM me…

Sounds like a great place to do business with. Not many out there that go that extra mile after the money has exchanged hands but there are some as we see here…

We lost one fish and took the hit of half pound, we fizzed our fish and all were looking pretty healthy but out of all five a smaller one took the belly up position. Would have thought the 27 plus incher would have bellied since it was with us from a half hour into the tourney thru the entire day..

3rd overall is not bad for first year fishing this tourney and getting placed with some good boaters along the way..
Bemidji was my favorite tourney due to my lucky draw of a boater. A seasoned Pro with alot of knowledge and willing to share that knowledge with his partner..
Not only did I have a great time fishing these tourneys this year with the FLW but along the way I met and made some great friends and some that have been role models in my eyes for a long time.. Hope to see you all out on the water again soon…

With the recent weather fluxuations we have been having, the eyes have slowed down a bit. You can however get yourself and group into a whole lotta fun with the Bass right now. Let me know exactly what you search for via PM I will be glad to put you on something worth travelling for..

I think it looks like fun myself, I was looking for one of these last year but found out they were recalled then as well. Guess I will have to watch e-bay for one..

It is actually a very good lake to fish but as mentioned above you best do your homework and take your time doing so. Dont depend on your GPS units to navigate thru these lakes. Just this last week on a lake in the area searching for a sunken island using my GPS and chip the island was near 100 yards off from where the chip claimed it to be…

I side with Jon on this one although I have no dog in the ring here either but,ON was wrong and all anyone is asking is for an appology. How hard is it to say, sorry guys I wrote something on rumors not facts and I apologize for narrowing it down to one tourney and a select couple in that tourney? Or I am sorry as the editor of the magazine this one slipped by me with no notice on my part I apologize on behalf of my magazine and writters and will strive harder in the future to keep this from being an issue in the future? Not to hard if you ask me..
