I would say he quit being a member of our military when he walked away from his base with the intention of not returning…in other words…disserting his fellow soldiers. The trade for Bergdahl will have far reaching consequences and will put our remaining troops in even more danger.

If you are just putting one drain in, then you should place it right in the center of the garage then the floor will be pitched towards the drain from all directions.

I am like most others, dirty water no leader, clear water I use a Flurocarbon leader tied on with a double uni-knot. I think you will like the sensitivity you gain going to a superline!

Thanks for all the help!! If I don’t have to sell the HDS5 and LSS1 to fund the unit I might take your advice and mount it on the console! Thanks again!

Thanks Gixxer01, so I would just need a new structure scan transducer to go with the Gen2 but my 83/200 regular transducer would be fine?
    Thanks again

I did the same one year with a bunch ring worms! They still caught fish but not near the numbers, I think it was more of a confidence issue…they ended up in the trash.

Not sure how it is a financial one when it will be costing them sales, therefore less revenues to “line their pockets”.

Riverweed, The companies don’t want the constitution rewritten and they are chosing not to do business with those that are trying to rewrite it…therefore I will support them because I believe the same, you don’t have to support them. While we are a free country yet I think it is nice to see a company stand for something even if it means less sales.

What size boat and trolling motor? If they are not to big you could get some marine grade plywood, double it up and screw it together. Then lay it over the bow of you boat and trace the gunwale outline on to the plywood. Make sure it is big enough for your entire trolling motor to sit on. Cut it out then bolt it to the gunwale itself and bolt your trolling motor to the plywood. I did it that way on my old boat and I worked out great.

I had a 16′ boat with a 55pd thrust trolling motor and had zero flex on the plywood. I am not sure I would do it that way if I had a bigger trolling motor.

Maybe post a picture of your bow to give us some ideas for you. Good luck you will love a bow mount trolling motor if you have not had one.

Yes hats off to these companies, I have shopped from a majority of them and will continue to do so! I too wish some of the bigger companies would come on broad with this thinking!

I’m not sure who posted it earlier about which part a Nazi Germany we should be afraid of? Well it is not the Nazi Germany that the Allied forces disarmed, which was the Hitlers German army, the Nazi Germany we should take note of is the one that diarmed the people in 1919 and the physical house searches conducted in 1920 that totally diarmed the people.

We as all gun owners should stand together against gun control of all kinds. The arguement that congress did good by enacting regulations for clean air, clean water and stricter DUI laws doesn’t fall under the same argument, there is nothing in the constitution written about them, therefore they are not a “right”.

No where in the second amendment is it written the right to bear arms is to protect our right to hunt. It is for self protection and self preservation…from an out of control government. Take some time and read the Federalist papers and you will see the true intent of our founding fathers.

For those that would bring up the argument that back when the bill of rights was drafted it was musket vs musket. If the liberals were to succeed in taking our gun rights, especially semi-auto guns we would be in no position to take up arms against the government as our founding fathers had intended. I am not advocating full autos, howitzers or scuds for everyone but legally owned semi auto “assault weapons” are really no different than your trusty Remington model 7400 or 1100.

Those of you that “just don’t believe that could happen” only need to look to 1919 and 1920 and that was not that long ago.

We as gun owners should be banning together pushing for legislators to look for solutions for the root causes not the proximal cause and not on gun control! Guns have never been the root cause to any problem but it has been our key to this free country and maybe again someday in the future.

I have both a HDS 5 and HDS 7 and have had zero issues with them. I did have a little problem trying to update them to the newest software but called Lowrance and a guy helped me through the whole process. The problem was my lack of computer knowledge. Have have throughly enjoyed both units and the structure scan.

Another vote for the Buddy Heater, it works great for the ice shack and in the deer blind during late season!

Love my Eskimo, have had mine for a long time with no problems. Hopefully they can get you fixed up with no future problems. Every company sends things out with issues every now and again, my buddy bought a brand new Jiffy that ran a whole one minute before blowing a piston! They stood behind it and it has run for the last four years without a problem! Hopefully you are back on the ice soon!

I would go with the camera if I were you, you already have a flasher at your disposal and she will probably enjoy watching the camera more than little colored lines spinning around in a circle. Good luck.

I have often wondered the same thing, I have never had one but if I did and it was the best drink I ever had I still would not put a sticker on my truck.

From a law enforcement view…I would call the cops, tell them what happened and request they make contact with the suspect and tell them they can no longer be on your property or feeding your dog, if they fail to follow the simple rules you will press charges for trespass on all future occurrences. It is important to have the police documentation for any future violations. Also have it documented in the report the name of your witness.

In my experience after I make contact with a suspect they usually don’t continue in a situation like yours…but if they do and I go back and charge them, either with a citation or criminal charge they don’t have a leg to stand on in court.
