did very well pulling leadcore and #7’s, seemed crome colors did just as well as perch colored lures like hot tiger and firetiger. fished the top edges of the mud and some sand to mud transitions. #4 hornets got some good jumbo perch as well with some smaller eyes, pulled spinners with crawlers and had some success when going over pods of fish that i graghed that wasn’t spred out.mille is kicking out some dandie walleyes rt now!

April 22, 2011 at 2:50 pm #959724just curious randy on how many over 12 inches did you boat that day! some pros didnt even get A BITE!
April 22, 2011 at 2:39 pm #959722True but…….a Cleveland sweep here counts as much as a sweep in September. While it isn’t time to panic, it’s time to be concerned. Somehow I don’t see last nights starting line up doing to well over the course of a season.
Time for the big boys to get back in the line up.
The lineup right now is AAA at best. A series win over the tribe would really be a huge booster of confidence for them. Creeping back to five hundred with a shell of a lineup and knowing with injuries and some brutal early baseball that was played, they could end up only 4 games back.I dont think cleveland can hold on to this pace and for the royals? well enough said (the detroit lions of mlb)

April 19, 2011 at 12:24 am #958493I for sure will be on the big pond sometime that week!!!! It all has to do with my work obligations I have a great boss It should be another great year
April 17, 2011 at 3:46 pm #958048Yep and you will have the best performing boat on the planet! hands down. I have been in every boat amaginable and ranger tops the list. IMHO i would go with the 620t if you can swing it.The extra lenght is a huge advantage in many ways
April 17, 2011 at 2:50 pm #958029I have tied my line directly to the lead core and have also used a small swivel. On the business end i always use a small wire clasp or snap (a snap swivel minus the swivel)I have found IMO that tying a knot directly to the crankbait can cause it to not run properly.the knot can slide up or down or side to side and can cause the crank to be out of tune.Plus changing cranks is done in a matter of seconds! just my 2 cents lead core trolling is a blast and have fun with it this summer! see ya on the water Chief
April 11, 2011 at 11:53 am #955842Give pat or rhonda a call at denny’s resort on winnie. You can rent a cabin and a slip for your boat there and they also have live bait and ice too.Not a five star place but not a crap hole either.Prices are very reasonable too. 218-665-2222.Cant really help you out on leech. We always stayed at the stoney point campground. gary
March 18, 2011 at 7:07 pm #948538big g i totally agree with you! i try to stick with a budget and twelve dollar hats is not in it, i sold a girlfriends car before because it was a honda and not american made! i dont like raising guide fees but then again maybe i should quit buying so much beer and go with the twelve dollar hats see ya on the dig pond G
March 18, 2011 at 2:36 pm #948435since we are on this subject find me an american made hat that costs 6 bucks! i am not rich and i would rather give a client a 6 buck hat than a 12 buck hat that are the same.money made guiding is hard enough, i would be basically doubling my advertising budjet
March 18, 2011 at 2:20 pm #948426they should pass it! I agree with brian and what he is usually fishing for.The dnr would just slap a special reg on lakes that they don’t want the two line bill to affect. (millelacs for example) Hey the dnr would probably make a nice chunk of change enforcing this law with the 150 page fishing booklet, people fishing two lines illegaly, and people from out of state.
March 17, 2011 at 2:24 pm #948076the dickmeyer brothers will be at it again!!!! see ya on the big pond team fife!
