I have camped on LOW 2 years in a regular pop up camper last weekend in Feb.
Year 1: 1st night 17 degrees no wind, gas furnace on and 2 electric heaters, we were cold. 2nd night absolutely freezing 10 below 25 mph winds. we are lucky to be Alive.
Year 2: put electric blanket in sleeping bag. Toasty warm in 0 degree temps with the setting only on 4.
I’d go every year, only if there is a generator and electric blankets.

This closing should remind us all to support local businesses, “Mom & Pop” shops. Price is an important part of every sale, but not always the most important part. I’m not sure or versed on the reasons it is closing, but I’d be willing to bet the “Big Box” stores had some influence on the decision.

We took our Golden/black lab cross to a class at pet smart. I think it was about $100. The best $100 I ever spent. I think it was once a week for 6 weeks. They teach you as much as they teach the dog.

Any time a person is extremely right or left, right or wrong, that person better be willing to accept consequences for their actions or words, right or wrong. I think most everyone was not surprised he was let go.

I really really question where this country is heading. We are in trouble. When is common sense going to apply to government and the rules regulations and laws that they pass. Our forefathers were smarter than this. When did it all change?

I took the leap for a pellet grill/smoker. A bit spendy, but worth every penny. It’s amazing. Traeger or Green Mountain. Very similar. Both incredible.

Ya, been there done that, even turned around part way there because I refuse to walk into places late. (places where it doesn’t matter if we are there or not) I’ ve been dealing with it 16 yrs now.

Being late starts more arguments with my FW than anything else. It never seems to change. Drives me nuts. It doesn’t bother her one bit.

All I know is if I lived in the area, I’d be sitting there with MY GUNS ready to shoot in case this SOB comes nocking on my door or breaking in to my place.

If the team was for it, job well done. I’ve known too many High School sports coaches that are complete a-holes. There are many good ones too, but it seems that it is not always about or for the kids, it is about the coaches.

I’m going Saturday for the 1st time this year.
