If money is no issue can am is the top dog so to speak the next choice down would be a Yamaha grizzly I have that love it has a lot of power smooth ride very dependable durable and best quad out there for the budget Hondas are okay but you plan on trail riding there’s no forgiveness in the suspension because its a straight axle drive not belt driven so you mess your shaft up on your Honda it will cost more than just buying a belt yamaha are very easy machines to work on I’ve worked on a lot and by far this has been the easiest personally I’d go with can am yami or Honda stay clear from Polaris they are complete junk

No I’m not why do you think there’s fast turn around look at tucr made in mn and takes a week to three want to know why because they made in usa plain and simple

Thorne bros makes there rods in China so fast turn around would be pretty easy

Striker ice is complete s**t you take the liner out they don’t float anymore they rip easy zippers don’t work worth crap worst investment period anything else but striker ice

Fluorocarbon is tougher than mono thinner less stretchable and barely any line memory what so ever I use that for all my rods from panfish to walleyes I use rapala castable flurocarbon

I personally like the split grip you feel the rod sensitivity a hair more than a cork handle and when its cold out u can have the split grip in your sleeve and keep warm

Dude go fish by a buddy with another vexliar and see you won’t pick up any fish and go test with two marcums I know a few prostaffers for marcum that they fish tournaments and have to be in a close area vexliars can’t even compete with a marcum

Vexliar runs all on the same channel so to speak so u fish right next to a buddy you won’t read or mark fish only marcum you can do that marcums the only way to go from target separation zoom the LCS screen to get baitfish mode flasher and anywhere in between

Striker ice completely suck unless you like to look pretty out there on the ice but if you want something that’s tough and rugged I would not get striker by far worst suit period

Running the newest version of the climate bibs and the customer service ain’t the best figured I could swap out a pair and they wouldn’t do that

If your looking for a place to go and stay I’d definitely go with Portavilla by far the best outfitter around the people are great and the service and fishing is amazing

The bibs are good floating durability wise they are complete sh*t plastic zippers don’t hold up worth crap and the bibs tear after a few time use I would not ever get another pair again I know this because I put my equipment to the test guiding

James were you using a noodle and cal a qt ?

The noodle is a more finer rod perfect for those finiky gills and can land a northern if the case both rods have an amazing backbone but if you’d do crappys I’d probably go with a qt just for the sinlmole fact its not as super sensitive as the noodle both rods are amazing up for you to decide
