Typical ten he scored 136 and non typical he scored 149. He was an old deer, last year or maybe the year before that he was a biggin. He wasnt the one i was going after but the monster that i was watching all year never presented a shot. One of my hunting buddies had the biggin at 20 yards but he didnt take the shot because he wasnt comfortable with it.

It’s a 12 but a typical 10. Yes it has a sticker on its brow and one on the right side also.

Tell me about it. I cant wait for september. A week and a half ago i went out with my brother in-law to video tape him for Iowa’s late season hunt for doe’s. We were just about to our stands and i saw the biggest 12 point ive ever seen in person. I know for a fact he was pushin 190 typical, and that isn’t exagerating. That got me all pumped up for sept.

I dont live in Iowa but im going to soon. The quantity of big bucks in Iowa is so high compared to other states.(My opinion) The other day i was driving to my in-laws in northern iowa and i saw 1 nice 10pt following a doe. He was probebly in the upper 170’s. I pulled over and watched him for about 10-15 minutes and then started going again. I went about another 200 yards on the road and to my right out in the pasture was a bigger buck chasing 4 does. I can’t beleive Iowa has such good QDM. Is this because Iowa’s deer seasons start later and end later?
