    I have had very good success with using Power Pro 10-12lb line and then I run an 8lb fluorocarbon leader off of a barrel swivels about 18″ up from my bait. I still get great sensitivity doing this and do not sacrifice line strength.

    That is just from my own experience and I know everyone has their own way of doing things, this way has produced for me.

    It is fairly easy to access from either the WI or MN side. Drive down to the far end of Park Point where people are walking off. Don’t have to walk/drive to far to get to some fish.

    Haha its my girlfriend, but she definitely got more excited as the fish got bigger!

    Haha, yeah I really wish I had a 10″ auger blade. The 30.5″ took some finesse to through the hole.

    It was truly an awesome weekend! I caught my biggest walleye and I am going to get a replica made.
