I also use a LEM 1hp. Great grinder, never have to force feed it. Also bought the LEM meat mixer, 50lb. This attaches to the grinder motor to mix. Takes out the hardest part of processing sausage…hand mixing! And does a better job of it. A friend has a cabelas stuffer with the motor attachment…never looking back to hand crank days!
Using the mixer takes a little practice to get it right. Make sure the equipment and meat is cold, and don’t overmix.
