thanks whitts! I only fished trout once before and got skunked. It’s frustrating marking all those fish and not getting a nibble. I guess that’s why they call it fishing instead of catching!

There’s a resort on elephant called melgeorges. Nice place. Also Myrtle lake is a good resort for easy access to some good smallmouth lakes. (Elbow lake is nearby there) also blackduck is great for panfish. Not sure what chip is going to have those lakes for your gps. I have the lakemaster and pellican is one of the few lakes on my chip for that area. Good luck!
