I put money down on an Alumacraft December 1st when the rebates started. I’m still waiting too.

Considering a Helix 7 ICE GPS Sonar package as well. Plan to use it for open water as a bow mount connected to MinnKota built in transducer that only produces 2d anyway. Will just need a power cable, US2 adapter, and mounting bracket.

Sheboygan always has great fishing. Dumper Dan has numerous charters and will get you on the fish.

US2 only provides 2D imaging. No side or down imaging without additional transducer.

Don’t overlook a straight deep cycle. Lots of Amp Hours and designed to be recharged many times over. More CCA’s than that 40hp will ever need.

I have heard others with the same issue on the old remote. Having purchased the new remote, I have not had any problems after several 10+ hour days on the water.

Most all the Rods and Reels at or over $100 will be a quality item.

Rods: Fenwick HMG – Shimano Compre or Clarus – Falcon BuCoo – Carrot Stix – StCroix Premier – Abu Veritas – Kistler Carbon Steel – Lews Speed Stick…

    Reels: Shimano Curado or Citica – Abu Revo’s – Lew’s – Quantum…

A 7′ medium heavy will perform well with most techniques.
Check out all you can and decide what feels best in YOUR hand!

Trophy Plus 17P or Vengeance 17p.
Seems to me your RPM’s need to get up a bit more.
Consult your owners manual, but I thought Opti’s should be around 5600-5800 rpm??

With a 150 yami hpdi, tops out at 50 with full fuel and 2 people. Dont skimp on the trolling motor. A 65pd on pool 8 barely keeps with the current I would try an 80lb…or bigger if you have room for 3 batteries. Co-pilot will appreciate a dual console. Pulls skiers/tubers with ease, but not the shallowest draft. Watch out for those wing dams!!
Thanks to K.Turner, we’ve been lovin’ the boat!

The red line is just a fluorocarbon and you can get that in clear and gold also. It is just red for marketing reasons.

Berkley Transition may be fluoro – but I doubt the Cajun brand, that has been advertising its red line like crazy, is…

I’ll use red hooks, but its Stren Original on all my reels.

Chances are the check will be returned to you, after you sent him cash and now you owe the bank the money.
