BK I kinda forgot about you’s guy’s over here and I’m now repassworded. I think you should boogey on up more often and do that Sturgeonfish shuffle !!

It’s one of the years where the BIG gals head up river this year. Seems every 3-4 years or so the average runs a tad bigger than the norm. I’ve heard of 3 over 70 so far from folks I know and read of another here, but have only seen pics of one and she was medium fat model at 73×29.

So tell me what has happened with the mnsca ??

    Enjoy the spring season man.

    Regards… Norm

RD check out Soderbloom aluminum and foam skid houses. They’re nice and may be kinda what your thinking.

It means roughly 11 more miles of ice to the lake.

Yo Brin an FYI for you…..Birchdale to Wheelers is a 36-37 mile boat run on the water depending on how tight a guy cuts the corners and the rivers bends eh!

I’ll use 15 to 20 inches or so usually. Sometimes more. I’ll be out a few more times chasing them Sturgeonfish, was out yesterday below the Manitou and them Sturgeonfish were snappin bigtime. Lot’s to do up here this days, Pike run is in high gear, those Sturgeonfish, and I’m trapping Chubs already so my time is divided pretty good between those 3 things!!!

I’m ready for some fresh Walleye fillets thats for sure!

Sounds rather weird??? I use 30 pound Power Pro mainline with usually with a 17 pound mono leader and don’t see that happening.

Perhaps it was them little sharp ones doing it?

Yepper plenty for sleds. The warm sun and the wind has got it packed down hard and a guy can get around off the roads with a vehicle again pretty good now too.

Gotcha guys and thanks. Just checking the guest list eh. Wanted to meet old BrianK last year but was only around on Friday as I had folks up for Pike fishing that following Saturday and Sunday. The guy I fished on the bay with Friday was a non drinker and we hung out and socialized for all of about 15 minutes after fishing so that did’nt give me much time for visitating!

Lot’s of good ice on the LOTW still and the bite has been superb on some of the rockpiles. Quite a few BIG Wally’s coming out of the bay the past week too.
