It was readily available i guess, its been the family drink since Grandpa started drinking it back in 1940. And it reflects TOO! LOL
Do you have a pop can on your light? Nice
Yes it is. Kid didn’t like it(too bright and made him feel like relapsing).Besides,it was still visible 360° and above boat.
Toothy critter in one hand and cell in the other sounds tricky if he’s fresh.
Wait till I/we find the other one Saturday night!!!
Come on linebackers, damn!
“Believe it or not”. That’s the name of a buck we targeted (bow only) that limped for two years with bad left back leg. We couldn’t believe he could survive WI winters. Good luck!
Thanks BK,I told him I should keep it since I donated funds for the two lost rods, or I would take a partial refund.;) Besides it all works out and if I loose or break one I am ahead of the game. Now, when I retrieve the other one, I am renegotiating. LOL Got lucky with the pike, he was lazy and hooked in the corner of mouth. Proud of/for my son too!
Rename the damn spot to “The bay of the lost rod” since I recovered one last night(put it in the front seat of your truck in case you didn’t notice) also came across a 41″ toothy critter(not even close to a 30″ channel cats fight) May need to go back and find other rod during daylight(so that dog and daylight show up). That darn blind squirrel is “GOOD”. Oh by the way,I upgraded too.
Thanks Steve and if they find any ugly sticks they belong to Whiskerkev.:) I am guessing the Red river cats will show up from what i have read and been told so I plan on going a lot wthe next two weeks since i am on vacation.
Hey Whimper, I mean Wisker,:) let’s take the bass rocket out Friday and/or saturday, its pretty comfy to catfish out of and who knows you may get a LUCKY upgrade like I did.
U would know about the dog n sun and bind squirrel, ask your friend.
I dont know might be tough Schultz besides who would catch the BIG fish With 1 rod holder and fishing with 3 rods on front deck, and chasing small freight trains sounds inevitable. Sign me up!
Attaboy KWP you did good. They sure come out of the woodwork on the holidays. Worth selling spectator seats at the boat launch I was at. Almost, well i kinda did, lost my cool with all the idiots that think they can tie up their boat blocking ramps(full of people that have a valid drivers license I may add) and walk to their vehicle and wait in a line about 300 yards long blocking others that want to load or launch, instead of letting a driver out and freeing up launch space. I had a guy with 5 driving age people do that to me while I was backing my boat down the ramp and he asks me what I was doing because he was gonna load, well I blew up by then and said “THIS IS NOT YOUR FFING PERSONAL DOCK A-HOLE,U NEED TO LET A DRIVER OUT AND MOVE THE BOAT UNTIL ITS TIME TO LOAD IDIOT,CANT YOU SEE HOW FF’ED UP THIS IS BECAUSE OF ALL YOU IDIOTS THAT THINK YOU CAN TIE UP AND BLOCK THE RAMPS(6 ramps i may add) DONT YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS BY HAVING SOMEONE DRIVE THE TRUCK/CAR AND TRAILER AND SOMEONE TO DRIVE THE BOAT DUMD-A” I may need blood pressure medicine the next holiday. KWP i would have used my cellphone to video it then post it on youtube as an educational video and submitted to americas funniest home videos($10,000 prize)LOL.
Thanks BK,gotta go chase some of your beloved big flats someday(tried in the past with no luck) I am not sure I have the gear to handle them. I took my son and future son in law out lastnight in the bass boat for channels and managed to get 3 over 31″, largest was 36″,so the bass rocket was christened with a heavy dose of evidence all over the front and back decks(ahhh, the smell and SIGHT of victory lingers in the carpet LOL) and we lost no rods(i have 4 rod holders on back rails and used rod tie downs up front as rod holders, so a win win.
Its like the “BERMUDA TRIANGLE” for me and rods. The first lost rod was while taking pictures of my fish and the second was while answeing Wiskers voicemail that he left me from earlier that day(maybe a setup LOL) I did pay my dues to Wiskers and the fish gods for a 30 lb channel and a chance at he King of the Cats crown. I agree rr56 that or clickers. I thought that’s what fishing with buds was about, all the GREAT STORIES,true and some a little stretched.
