Yes and No. I saw something on FB that he was going to do another video comparing the Norsk and Marcum batteries released and how that stacked up with all the new stuff out on the market for the season.

I too have been waiting to see the video that Ice Hole Power was going to do but it sounds like he hyped it up and said he was testing but then never released the video? Does anyone know where that video went or why he didn’t release it?
September 8, 2020 at 6:36 pm #1971293Here’s what I run without issues and have fished in 3 feet of water granted at that point you not really looking at much.
Range mode: manual
Gain 1
Sensitivity: usually 15-20
Ping rate:4
Target adjust: up to you on how big of a return you want to see.I adjust in that order and really only thing I adjust after I get it dialed is my target adjust. I’ve had the older software and the work around was to just put it into “open water” mode which is now gain 1/2. Once I found that out, it was much easier.
August 5, 2020 at 9:33 am #1962928So the new houses just got a color change with an included beacon? Please correct me if I am wrong. The new rod boxes looks awesome but if they did not incorporate the ability to mount the new rod boxes (molded into the boxes) onto the side of your monster box, they missed that mark. No reason to go away from the innovations case if mounting doesnt come with the box. What does the bottom of the rod boxes look like and/or how would you end up mounting it to the monster box?
July 9, 2020 at 9:34 am #1955977Is anyone running a Predator 3500 and have added an extended tank? I found a handful of caps online but anyone have any experience with a certain cap that they would recommend?
July 8, 2020 at 11:34 am #1955626Doesn’t look like it which you would of thought just running a simple “T” in there would fix that issue to put constant propane to the attachment nozel. Love the concept but certainly missed a couple key things like that especially if they are catering to hard water guys. The more we find out, the less appealing it becomes feature vs. feature of the big buddy.
July 8, 2020 at 7:30 am #1955525It doesn’t fit in a standard milk crate.
length – 12.5 inches
width – 9.5 inches
height – 16 inchesCooking accessory option sold seprately.
MSRP will be somewhere around $170-$180.
No fan like the big buddy heater.
The nice thing is it doesn’t have the ceramic burner, hopefully this will be able to take more abuse then the ceramic can.

July 6, 2020 at 10:33 am #1954863We were in this position a couple years ago and I looked for a year or so and didnt find anything significant deals on them. (Looking for a MX4200/74766) I did end up calling around the cities prior to all of this and no one really had anything worth while price wise.Might be worth while to wait especially if you dont NEED it until the fall and watching prices and see if anything happens. Worst is they dont budge on price and you have a little more leverage so they dont have to store it over the winter. Just my 2 cents.
What we did find while talking to the toro guys at the state fair is they (the dealer that was there that day) had last years model that they had marked down a like $4-500 and we dropped on it. Thankfully it was exactly what we were looking for with the fabricated deck. Chaulked up to right place, right time.
As far as the bagger system, I have looked far and wide for deals on a bagger and have yet to see them go on sale for then $100 difference between any one place that I have looked. Will be adding one this season because picking up leaves is getting old and have come to realize the price of the bagger is what it is.
All in all, has been a great mower and easy to do routine maintenace on.
July 4, 2020 at 12:03 pm #1954526Again, LIFEPO4 or Lithium-ion. Two different batteries. I’m suspect broadband is just a wider ducer.
August 29, 2019 at 12:50 pm #1876449Did they incorporate the black box/software into the head unit or is it mounted somewhere in the case? Would be interesting to see how they have it all rigged up in there.
July 22, 2019 at 2:47 pm #1868861Anyone have the model #s for the two “500” size baitfeeders?
Looks like tackle direct had them on their site for pre-order:

April 1, 2019 at 8:09 pm #1847709Now that the season is over for the majority of people, for those who got to put some time in with these rods, what are your thoughts? Haven’t seen much hype about them after the start of the season.
March 27, 2019 at 9:16 am #1846242Still out fishing, should be another 2 weeks or so until I hang it up. Things are just starting to get good with the warmer water and no snow pack on the ice.
January 28, 2019 at 7:31 pm #1830296and I bet they replaced his ducer as well when they did that didn’t they? There is your culprit. Ducer damage is what I would suspect just by crusing all the sites. There has to be something that causes it like you mentioned and the only thing that it can be is the ducer. Just my two cents.
January 27, 2019 at 9:08 pm #1829960Are you able to get a depth reading at all? If you are, it’s a settings issue.
January 23, 2019 at 7:08 am #1828643Mine does the same thing as well, sounds like that is normal based on the above comments. Never bothered me. I never use the gauge display either as it takes up space on my screen.
January 20, 2019 at 2:02 pm #1827822As mentioned above too, I would also make sure they are running the latest firmware.
January 18, 2019 at 1:38 pm #1827248Where the hell are you seeing 25% off the LX-series on Rapala’s website!? I want in on that deal!
January 3, 2019 at 9:33 pm #1822952What are they down to? I bet some retailers are already thinking spring time and trying to move product so they don’t have to sit on it over the summer.
December 24, 2018 at 10:38 am #1820194It has a internal lithium battery, keep it warm prior to using it and you should be just fine.I assume when you said you kept it in your truck, that meant overnight? What you screen brightness at as well? I have noticed that keeping mine at 50% has really helped my run time.
December 20, 2018 at 8:47 pm #1819478Are you running firmware 5.10?
Range Mode: Manual of Manual Dynamic
Sensitivity 15-20 (firmware 5.10)
Gain Mode:
Under 10 FOW: Gain 2
Over 10 FOW: Gain 1Ping Rate:
Under 10 FOW: 1-2
Over 10 FOW: 3-4Target Adjust: This all depends on how big you want your returns on your screen to be. A general setting to start out with is around 4-5 and adjust accordingly to your preference
December 8, 2018 at 7:31 pm #1816167From what I have heard, sounded like an epoxy issue.Chances are it will still work but overtime will degrade further. Worth a shot to email them though and see what they say.
December 8, 2018 at 4:28 pm #1816127Email marcum with this picture, your serial number and shipping address and they should send out a new ducer for you. I have seen this before on other threads and that is what happened. [email protected]
December 6, 2018 at 1:11 pm #1815537Here it is directly from their website on a good starting position with firmware 5.10.
