OK, I’ve read… I lost track of how many pages about this! I’ve seen this before on other shows and want to put my two cents worth in.

1. If Ted and Perry received any compensation for the show, it would have been agreed upon PRIOR to fishing.

2. I’ve been on Red when the slab bite is off and I actually heard guys say “Damn, its another f*$#in’ walleye” and watch the fish go right back in the water.

3. I saw a snippit of the episode and I don’t think any of the anglers acted unethically. They moved 7 TIMES!

I think the only ones to blame here is MWO for being stupid enough to air it! If I were in Teds shoes, I wouldn’t say “Here’s they goods (or cash) back since we didn’t catch any crappies, just make sure you don’t air this footage”. I would have hoped MWO had brains enough to see the tidal wave of bad PR coming a mile away, and leave it all on the cutting room floor!

Anyway, this topic could be interpreted a million different ways but who cares…. its only 50 days until opener!
