I’ve camped on Virgin Is a couple times and left on the ash river..that’s safe the hotel pulls your boat over to the river..good fishing in the harbor…when you go down the river watch red and green rocks are nasty I know hit a rock downstream green right red left stay in the middle or tight to the green marker not too close that campground is nice has a dock close to some good reef fishing..crappies also north.

Trappers landing resort on the south end of leech has a great ice road just like low and Mille lacs roads. Others that have roads pine pt resort.. Horseshoe bay also..

Don’t know how to post a picture but recently bought an electric golf cart from a fellow IDOr. With my cancer issues I can’t carry gear or walk the distance to my stands. I can load this up and drive to with in a short distance of my stands. Its the bomb. I have yet to run into beer cart though.

I have never stayed in one on the ice, but the houses at Trappers are pretty darn nice. They have one outside of the office when we stay in the summer and that thing is pretty darn nice!!!

I’ve fished it awesome river all the way up to Ruedi Reservoir…the gold medal section of the river flows west for 14 miles to the Roaring Fork river by Basalt, Co…Ruedi has camping and trout fishing small fish but lots of action…elk roam up here and small deer also.. Big Lake trout in the winter if you can make it up .. Neat area….
Good points,, some days my ring is clear and I see all the deer eating my apple trees and the bear…seems to have bad days with alerts. but I own own it hope they up grade some soft wear..clean the lens as comb webs set it off big time,.
