I thought that the motor would be in the way of the side scan on my 16ft deep v with a 50hp with the lss2 transducer but I installed the transducer as per instructions and it shoots between the stern and the motor in the regular trim position. Surprised me but it works fine with out having to trim up at all.

Mine is due in on Monday I was wondering if you have any idea of the range of the remote. ie how far from the boat can the remote be and still stow and deploy ?

The gen2 structure scan will work with the gen1 hds or the gen2 hds with the buttons. The gen2 touch has the structure scan built into the unit and dosen’t have a separate module.
