Safest method for a large transaction would be to meet the buyer at your bank and have them verify all funds and title work. Guaranteed safe!! I always say the first person to put the money in my hands gets the sale. Otherwise, you end up playing too much time trying to manage all contacts and back and forth BS!

X3 with Wings. Very easy to deal with as well.
Give Bob Bowman a call at Wings and he will set you up! He works at the Minnetonka location off of 394. He is a long time member of IDO.January 17, 2013 at 11:48 am #1131737Does anyone know if the overlay functionality is available in the humminbirds or is the feature exclusive only to lowrance?
January 17, 2013 at 1:18 am #1131669I think with the current abilities such as structure scan it basically already exists. Structure scan allows the ability to record your down imaging or side scan data and overlay it onto your standard mapping features. You can record a transition area and then overlay onto the map. I just seen a demo of this on the latest “The Next Bite” tv show. Very cool stuff!
November 29, 2012 at 7:47 pm #1116074Has there been any talk from Marcum about adding GPS functionality to their units. Now that would be a complete package!
November 16, 2012 at 1:02 am #1112561Are there any pics or info on the eagle claws? I can not find any info on them?
November 13, 2012 at 10:59 pm #1111933Thanks everyone! Going to go through some trial runs and see which one works best.
August 21, 2012 at 4:52 pm #1093738One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish! Who cares!
Nice fish anyways!July 30, 2012 at 2:05 am #1088149Just finished a week long houseboat trip on Crane, Namakan and Kab with my family. We cleaned up pretty good on the eyes. Pulled spinner rigs on bottom bouncers with crawlers. Worked the deeper breaks and flats from 24 to 38 feet running .8 to 1 mph. Fished up in lost bay on kab and various spots in namakan. Our best spot was in namakan on a large flat. Lots of nice eaters and a few doubles. Silver or gold blades with red beads seemed to work best.
May 31, 2012 at 3:11 am #1072403lord.. hope I never make a mistake in front of you..
Why is it so bad that someone is actually aware of what’s going on around them and want to make sure that our resources are protected by reporting possible illegal activity. The COs will sort it out.
You seem to just want to bash someone because of this. Rather shallow IMO! What’s the big deal? Are these your friends?April 25, 2012 at 1:42 am #1062220Just looking for confirmation on this AIS sticker that is all the rage. Is this mandatory now? I thought it was not required until 2014. And what is with them writing you a warning ticket. How can they write you a warning for a proposed law that is not currently in effect? WTH!
January 3, 2012 at 1:36 pm #1023823According to Apple, the 8GB iPod can hold up to 2,000 songs, up to 7,000 photos, up to 8 hours of video, or some of each.
December 31, 2011 at 11:56 am #1022848I was using the marcum underwater camera on the west side this past thurs and friday i could see fish come up to my jig and they were still swimming as they took a look at my lure. You could also see a lot of sediment moving in one direction with the camera. Rather interesting!
April 1, 2010 at 1:38 pm #859672Thanks for the update. Are most of these cans located in the middle of the river or mostly the deeper river channels?
April 1, 2010 at 1:31 pm #859666Does anyone think the river will have dropped enough by this coming Monday to make these cans visible?
March 30, 2010 at 1:00 am #858681Do all these buoys “cans” show up on the new humminbird lakemaster chip?

Ya Saturday you out fished me. Your lucky Sunday I didn’t wake up I woulda pounded em. Every thing caught on meat. Damn ringworms don’t work. At least not for me
I was down there last sunday and Ringworms were the ticket. We had three guys in the boat and they were throwing meat and I had one rod with meat and the other with a ringie. The ringie outfished the meat 3 to 1. I ended up with 23 fish to their combined 6.
Just keep playing around with the colors. It does make a huge difference once you find the right combination.March 9, 2010 at 1:37 pm #851024Quote:
When you say ” zoomed out quite a ways ” how far is quite a ways?
All avaiable updates are available for free from humminbird.com. Has your unit been updated to the current software?
I am not sure how far I was zoomed out but I will try at least 500 next time to see if that helps.
The bird is on the latest software for the lakemaster chip support. Can the software be reinstalled if it is the same version?March 9, 2010 at 3:20 am #850923Is it recommended to reload the software again or is it even possible?
I have zoomed out quite a ways and the redraw will not keep up. If I use the navigation arrow and move to an area off the screen and wait for the redraw, it takes 14-16 seconds and this is when I am not moving at all.
When in the boat and moving over 10mph the map will not refresh until I slow down to a slow troll or stop.March 5, 2010 at 1:43 am #849428I was playing again with the 997 in the garage and was unable to get it to work any better. Man this sucks! Very disappointed thus far! It pretty much means the maps are useless!
March 4, 2010 at 2:13 pm #849010It is a brand new chip for the bird. Could this have something to do with the gps?
March 4, 2010 at 2:55 am #848859Most definitely! Finally got to test my 997csi out today. WOW! The views you see with any standard 2d sonar can now be explained. What’s not to like! Side scan and down imaging are very usefull tools to decipher the structure in any lake or river and give you an almost picture like view of the bottom.
December 8, 2009 at 5:14 pm #821413Thanks for the info. I was a little leary of punching a hole through the bottom of my glass boat, so I think I will stick to the external ducer and maybe add the high speed shoot through the hull ducer as well.
