I run a 2016 WX2060 and just went to a Rev 4 17 pitch prop, Prop is good on RPM (6000) but can only get 53 MPH.
Great hole shot but haven’t had a chance to run it in any waves yet.My motor is on the stock set back in the 3rd hole from the top.

Dealer just contacted me on my motor and they found that both of the thermostats were in backwards from the factory, So the motor was never warming up to temp.
Still waiting to hear what the Yamaha Rep has to say about this.

I ran the motor yesterday for 27 miles at WOT 5800 rpm,let it idle to cool down then ran another 27 miles at WOT.
Checked the oil today and it rose quite a bit for one trip, From about 1/3 up the dipstick to over half.
Doesn’t look like this worked or should I change the oil and see if it rises from there?
    Damn this is frustrating!

Thanks for all the input guys, I changed the oil today so now I need to go out and run it hard.
Hopefully this does the trick, Will report back with results.

I am using synthetic oil, Changing it to conventional tomorrow.
I am running a 19 pitch bravo 1 LT and turning 5800 RPMS at WOT.

l have made some 15-20 mile runs at 3/4 to full throttle but with synthetic oil.

May need to put the 3 blade SWS prop back on to get up around 5900-6000 RPM.

I tried the 20 pitch and couldnt get enough RPM without a jack plate or moving my motor up which i didnt want to do. I tried a 19.5 pitch and it was close so i went to the 19 pitch which performed pretty good, I would guess the guys running the 20 & 21 pitch are running jack plates or raised the motor. Sounds like Justin above was running the FS and i am running the LT, Two totally different props.

I run a 19 pitch Bravo 1 LT on my 2016 WX2060 and get 57 MPH fully loaded with two guys. I get 5800 RPM at full throttle with no jack plate.
