Have been going to a friend’s place on Saganaga for 25 years. Saganaga was a great lake to fish 10 years ago but for some reason the fish are much tougher to find. Hence the reduced bag limit and new slot limits enforced. They used to have a place called “Powells” which was right on the border of Min-Can and I’ve heard that it is under new management–it also is very close to Sagonto. The last 10 years we have been portaging in Northern Lights Lake. It is a great lake to fish.

Was out with a group of guys Friday & Saturday. Targeted a smaller lake on Friday for walleyes and the fishing was fabulous. Hit Devils Lake on Saturday for perch. Much slower day that produced a fair number of perch but overall size was small. Dozen or so small walleyes also.

I’ve had mine for over a year–works great for frying for 2-4 people. Have had no issues with heating–the only thing I wish it had was a temperature gauge to make sure it doesn’t get too hot. peace

If you stay at the Coho, stay in the new addition. Might cost a little more but much nicer accommodations. We usually rent a slip for a few days to eliminate launching the boat every day–well worth the money. We are usually there in September, quiet little town. You can look on the website and http://www.kewaunee.org and see a list of activities going on.
