Do not support this but do agree we need punish with the laws that are already there in black and white.

I’m in Hastings and it is about 2 1/4 hrs for me and my trips are usually 1-3 days but I have family living at Hunter’s so it is pretty cheap to stay for a few days if I decide to.
January 1, 2014 at 10:50 am #1375775Coach is way out of his comfort zone and this team is way to small to compete with good teams. They get pushed around way to much and cannot move anyone from in front of their own net. Outside of a couple of guys they really don’t show any heart and soul. Koivu isn’t captain material and who do they have that can score besides Parise and Pomminville?
December 19, 2013 at 4:32 pm #1372888Buck and Aikman have got to be the worst with Collinsworth right behind. Brad Nesler even though he is a local guy isn’t much better
August 5, 2013 at 11:50 am #1187568Got checked several times at the public access in Garrison but that is more than 10 yrs ago and never since. I see them at Hunter’s quite a bit but never been checked there. I have never understood how they think they can get any kind of good numbers the way they randomly check people and then figure the whole lake is taking whatever kinds of numbers they see. I think that they started out with bad numbers in the very beginning because they used those kinds of numbers but that’s what happens when you have government involved.
August 3, 2013 at 9:49 pm #1187376They did a good job with the ramp except it is still not level from side to side.
June 23, 2013 at 3:10 pm #1179613I like the Northwoods Seasoning which is very light and has just a little kick on the end. Northwoodsseasoning.com to check it out and he will send it if you wish.
April 27, 2013 at 11:35 am #1166237I say Clutterbuck, Brodziak, Bouchard along with Stoner should all be gone for next season. They just are not very good once you get past the first line and the top Def pairing or Suter and Brodin. Stop the top line and you beat the Wild. Nothing more than penalty killers and checkers once you get away from the top line. Nowhere near physical enough on Def in front of the net, there are always guys standing around in front of the goalies.
April 26, 2013 at 11:41 pm #1166164I love the drug testing on Welfare and Politicians but also like the lie detector test.
February 25, 2013 at 12:33 am #1145463Agree with Steve on the gutless DNR officials and also gutless politicians. I also agree 100% with stopping the netting during spawn.
February 25, 2013 at 12:27 am #1145462Ok Steve so you say the deer up to 2.5 yrs old being taken is a problem statewide so why not put the restriction into place for the whole state instead of just a small portion of it? Maybe this is a very select group of hunters wanting the antler restriction in place and they made the most noise and got their way. Just curious.
February 25, 2013 at 12:16 am #1145458With the way that lake is managed now it won’t take them long and they will have the rest of the species mismanaged just like they have with the Walleye.
February 17, 2013 at 3:40 am #1142717If you look at this team they don’t have much more than mediocre talent after Parise and Koivu. Heatley is slow and very much over rated and wouldn’t have a goal this season if his line mates didn’t put it where he can’t miss it. Coyle should have stayed with the big club and Granlund should be down. Granlund is over matched and looks confused when on the ice, Coyle has size and looks like more talent to handle the big leagues in my eyes. Suter was brought in to run the power play and up until now hasn’t shown he can do that on a regular basis, maybe he misses Shea Weber more than people know.
February 12, 2013 at 2:40 am #1140725To many politicians invested in oil. Get them out and see what happens to prices. Funny how the prices went up so fast after the inauguration.
February 3, 2013 at 11:10 pm #1126598Not trying to sound negative but beside Parise and Suter this is basically the same team as the last couple of years so I don’t expect any more out of them. And by the way Heatley is just about the laziest hockey player I have ever seen.
January 19, 2013 at 8:30 pm #1132654I have never seen more than 3 or 4 on the website or in the stores.
January 7, 2013 at 12:35 am #1127548Mille Lacs has been hot with mostly big fish from what I have heard.
December 18, 2012 at 1:44 am #1121410We deer hunt in the Whitewater WMA and stay in the area while we hunt. I must say I agree with the not so great report for Slippery’s. Food was just ok and a little spendy.
November 9, 2012 at 1:22 pm #1110771I had that happen with 2 Sahara’s this summer. It confused me because they would spin free and then sometimes work so I was thinking of something I was doing to make it happen and couldn’t think of anything.
October 26, 2012 at 3:09 pm #1107816Be sure to say hi to Scott and Mitch if you go to the bar at Hunters
October 6, 2012 at 12:44 pm #1103339In the spring I buy them by the flat at Lee’s Taxidermy in Prescott but I’m not sure if he keeps them year round.
September 20, 2012 at 2:42 pm #1100019Just curious what ever happened to mother nature doing her job. I know politics should be discussed somewhere else but it seems like the more government gets involved the worse things are. Seems like things were ok when we were all younger and there were less people sitting behind a desk telling us what was good and what was bad.
September 15, 2012 at 12:04 am #1098973It is still open I think the 17th is the new tentative date for closure.
September 10, 2012 at 12:36 pm #1097645I have been to Florida twice and by far I liked it on the gulf side better. We took our grandson to Disney World in Orlando which was a great thing for him at age 8 but just average for me. We also went to Clearwater Beach which is near Tampa but right on the gulf and although it wasn’t on a lake or in the woods it was much more relaxing. We drove to Daytona Beach and found out the beaches were nicer on the gulf side also.
