I just have to “chime in” and say that the everyone I’ve talked to has had very positive things to say about “microdiscectomies”, or however that goes, but personally I’ve had 3 “fusion’s”…it’s been 16yrs and I’ve gone nowhere but downhill….point is, as long as there’s no “metal” involved, I think you have to seriously consider it! Not much worse then daily “back issues”…I hope goes well….

One can make a very realistic “owl hoot” by blowing into your cupped hands….hard to explain on here but it’s possible that Utube might have a “how to” video….

Well, if that’s the case with the jig just “circling”, not sure why they would offset the eye then???? Obviously, that’s not what we all need…a jig that circles even more than normal lol!!!!!

Oh, where did that “bead type collar thing” go?????

I haven’t run into the “new” ones but I love the “offset” hook…..

I use a Rigid 18v with the Lith batteries with a Lazer 6″ and once you get past 12-14″ of ice, the # of holes you can drill starts to go down kinda quickly. I’d say that thru 12″ of ice on a 12deg day, you should be able to get 15 holes per battery on average. Now everyone’s rig seems to vary on this but that’s where I would put mine. I’ve ran these cordless setup’s for years and wouldn’t fish with out one but like stated, it performs best early and late ice…..GL to ya!!

I use a barrel swivel too but I find it’s not near as important with spoons as it is with Raps….

Not sure if this is directly relevant to your question but my buddy n I rented a shack last year out in ND for the day…he has an LX-7 and I have a 20yr old Vex! Took a minimum amount of “adjusting” but not really an issue….

Our latest “favorite” has been fillets dipped in egg/milk then 50/50 Andy’s seasoning and Townhouse Flipside crackers. Most Walmart’s carry the Andys and the crackers can be switched out to whatever crackers….started this recipe with Ritz!!!

Another vote for the “Striker”!!! If you’re going to spend the cash, the Striker compares favorably in warmth, comfort ability and of course, it FLOATS lol! I haven’t had mine long enough to comment on durability but it sure seems like that won’t be an issue. No matter what “suit” you go with, you will NOT have any problem with keeping warm and dry!!! GL!!!

Yeah pug, it’s hard to get any fishing in when you’re “on the move” all the time!! I’m from SE WI but I’m relocating to the East Coast but not exactly sure where just yet. We’ve been in PA and now MD but might end up in NC!! I’m not really into salt water fishing but there’s a ton of water along the coast both fresh and salt!! I’ll get it going next year for sure!! I always get a laugh when I see you post cuz we have a Pug as well….great little dog!!! Hope you “grow some roots” soon dude!!!!!

I haven’t been fishing much at all this year due to a few moves to a few different states but this is a great idea and when you hash out the details, I think it’ll end up being an excellent idea!!! Hopefully my last move for a very long time will be soon and I can start fishing again and maybe participate!!!! Kudos to a great idea!!!
