Anybody have the picture of a transducer mounted on a 2010 or newer?
March 14, 2014 at 7:51 am #1396021I am using my old LCX’s for the time being; until I decide which direction to go in the future. Have you glassed/epoxied your own in? What is the process? Thanks.
June 3, 2013 at 2:39 pm #1175215Any Ranger dealer should have them. I lost mine twice and got them over the counter at R&R Marine in Shakopee. I just put Duct Tape over mine before i got the replacements.
July 11, 2012 at 4:39 pm #1083115Understandable in those circumstances! I am fairly sheltered with the exception of strong south winds and have nothing but sand all around my lift. If it does get really bad i always have the ability (on the property)to back my trailer in and pull it out completely. Thanks for all the help!
July 9, 2012 at 5:19 pm #1082220I emailed Ranger and got the same answer. Only have one set of bunks so far and i set them to the same measurements as the inner bunks. seems to work fine, but i am considering getting a second set of bunks to watch the outer bunks on the trailer if it seems to be unstable side to side.
July 19, 2011 at 2:22 am #981933Its on a 620… what kind of rpm’s and mph are you getting?
I should clarify that it is a Raker II 21 pitch with the BIG holes. Hole shot is perfect for 2 guys with a full load of gear (my typical load). Three guys its ok, but it lags a second getting out of the hole. With my typical load I can still run on the high side of mid 50’s 56-58) at roughly 5600 rpms. This Spring with just myself 1/4 tank of gas, and a full gear load I got just over 5800 RPM’s and 60.3 MPH in cold water/air and just the right amount of chop to let it walk nicely! The biggest improvement over the 23 pitch Evinrude prop was running has been the Bow lift throughout the power band. I get the bow and more of the boat out of the water giving the chance to get more speed and definitely helps in rough water. Hope this helps.
July 17, 2011 at 11:10 pm #981649what boat are you running it on? I run a Raker 21 3-blade with the big holes on my Ranger 620 and it performs awesome!
July 14, 2011 at 10:52 pm #980932Those are the ones that I have heard about (from Cabelas). I wonder if they quit making them after Ranger started putting the batteries in the floor?

I am going to guess that the spot is also the spot that you step on everytime you step through to the front deck? I had the same thing happen on the spot that everyone steps when going to the front deck. I used to do some guiding and special events out of the boat. Needless to say some people step up normal and some people Jump.
Exactly! Thanks for the input.

What about the height needed? Will a 620 with a full windshield fit under a 7 foot door?
I have a 7′ door and your motor may be a bigger issue depending on the slope on your driveway. My drive way is short, but slightly uphill to the door and I have to lower the motor almost all the way down to get through the door than raise it up once it’s under. I have High bubbles that clear easily, and I think that you should be able to get a walkthrough in as long as the trailer is level at that point. Also; I never take out my butt seat in front and that goes through as long as it’s not all the way up!
July 15, 2010 at 10:21 pm #887209Nice Rig! I wondered when someone was going to snatch that one up! Bought my first “new to me” Ranger this year and have never been happier with my boat situation!
July 8, 2010 at 3:47 pm #885352I think we finally got it figured out, but for anyone else that has this happen here is what I did. I updated the antenna to version 1.9, and updated the LCX110 to 2.1 to match the LCX27. All seems to be working now, but will test it out on the water on Saturday!

Dale at Lake Marion Marine in Farmington, not to far from where you are and less than the big dealers. If you want his number let me know.
Dale does awesome work! He’s done a bunch of work for me. He’s quick and gets it done for a reasonable price for being in the metro!
May 7, 2010 at 8:33 pm #870358Yeah; both the Merc 250 XS and 250 HO’s were screaming! Not sure which one was faster, but had a chance to fish out of Mark Court’s for a while, and man is that a different ride. Seems like you are up higher and there seems to be a lot more free-board. I tell you what though that new eTec kicker is pretty sweet! Looks really big, but man is that RPM adjustment nice!
May 7, 2010 at 2:27 pm #870173Thanks Ted. It gets up and goes, but I got my doors blown off by the 2010’s down in Chamberlain. I have new props to try out as well as I am only getting 5200 rpm on the current one? It went 58.5 (Max on Gps) with basically no gas, dry, with me a PFD, a throwable, and NO other gear! It’s a little slower now. I’m doing all new HDS’s this winter, ordered lower seat skins, and looking at redoing the carpet evetually. The carpet is fine, but I did it on my last boat when I bought it, and it made it feel like new.
May 7, 2010 at 3:39 am #870076Sorry it took so long, But I’ve found myself getting on the water as often as I can! Got everything the way I want now just need to find one more locator for this year before the big re-rig planned for this winter.
May 7, 2010 at 3:23 am #870071Hard to explain, but I’ll look for some of my pictures! Try the Ranger forum for tons of answers. Congrats on the new boat, and let me know if you want to get rid of that 111!
April 27, 2010 at 7:23 pm #867338Congrats dakotahunter on your new purchase! Just rode in a couple of the new ones in Chamberlain, SD last week and they really fly! Blew the doors off my ’04 620! It’s amazing what people will say, and to think I used to run a Lund.

Congrats!
Now all we need is for the water to stabilize and the fish to bite.
Good Luck,
690reece
Thanks Reece! You still got your 690? Seems like forever ago we used to sit and talk about Rangers all day at work!
