I’ve never done this, but everything I’ve researched says that the 7mm-08 is just a necked down .308. I would imagine there’s quite a process to get the brass necked down. Really, a 7mm-08 is between a .308 and a .243, and I believe all 3 could use the same brass. I’m sure some experienced folks will chime in…
I’ve seen anything from 1.5″ to 7″ in the area. If you don’t know exactly where you are going, you’d better bring your spud bar.
I must be a big chicken then. My daughter and I took her little 90cc four wheeler out today. Works perfect with 6″ of ice and no snow. Stud the tires with some screws, and these little ATVs get around surprisingly well.

Very nice! I planned on fishing today, but with the Winter Weather advisory up here in Northeast SD, I didn’t bother. I’m only 22 miles from Waubay lake, so it sure was tempting.
