You will have to look into a surety bond of $25,000. DNR may have you supply a bond because you are a new permittee.

Excel Bass will be running a team series named Team Excel in 2008. Lakes will include the ones you are looking to permit as well. Feel free to call me if you have any questions…I’d be willing to offer any advice.

Not sure why this was done…this first river tournament clashes with the MN State Federation Championship on Leech Lake and a BFL Super Tournament on the River the same week-end.

Last year the Bass Series MN Div. had a good number fishing that were B.A.S.S. federation anglers I wonder how many will fish Leech all week(through Friday) and then drive down to Pool 4/5 to fish on Sunday.

I’ll have to reconsider fishing the series due to this conflict.

I’ll be fishing a few of the first ABA/B.A.S.S. events(Forida) in January. I’ll let every know how ABA runs the events.

I have a home in Winter Haven…I’m going down and Sat. for a month. I’ll be fishing a few tourneys on the chain over the next month. Maybe I’ll have something to report when I get back. You’ll enjoy this area of Florida…20+ clear water lakes all interconnected and close to everything. I heard the fish are better on the lower chain.
