    I had the same symptoms with a 2001 johnson 50 horse 2 stroke it turned out to be the fuel pump. The mechanic said the 40 and 50 horse were known for this. The part cost 300 dollars and its possible to put on yourself.

    Had some muskie action on the North Fork above Park Falls and the Pixley Flowage the last weekend of June. No hook ups some follows and hits biggest fish was around 40 most were low 30’s. Best luck was on surface baits good luck

    I had a 2001 50 hp johnson 2 stroke with those same problems turned out to be the oil pump. Cost 300 dollars for the part and I put it on myself. Machanic said it would of been about 80 dollars labor to put it on.

    Hey Dean at the 30 days til spawn seminar at the skeeter boat center James said he doesnt see pre spawn walleye after april 10th. Do you see this holding true this year?

    Hey Les being born and raised in Park Falls I’ve found the Loomis works best if you break it in two pieces and use them to support a couple of new saplings in the yard.

    It was mid April during the Ray’s Fishing Tourney in Eau Claire. It was on the fast current side of the river on the same side as the YMCA. Good Luck!

    Accidently snagged one of these in April of 07 by the YMCA. It was about 30 inches long dark blue with little white bumbs all over it. Sure put up a good fight on the 6′ light action St Croix.

    Talked to Irish saturday he shot me a price but at the time I forgot to ask him about the steerng. Might be off base here but thought hydraulic steering was about $2000

    I could buy one heck of a wieght bench for that much money

    Just thought of another question do I need hydraulic steering with this F150 or is the no feed back steering good enough?

    Hi Jason it is me.

    Thanks for the advice guys

    The roller trailer sounds like something I’ll be needing.
    The pro v has a bunk trailer but at 30k with with a 70lb trolling motor, lowrance x-27 and smartcraft gauges it had me thinking.

    Sounds like I’ll have about 4 to 6 weeks to bow hunt till that new boat comes then its fishing time.
