I have a 185vs ranger with a 150 yamaha 4 stroke. I don’t have a jack plate yet, but am looking at getting one. Is the closing dam on the north end an issue or is it deep enough. Are there any guides out there that are willing to show a guy how to run it?

I’m interested in learning how to run the wisconsin channel. Anyone have any suggestions.
