Thank you Gizmoguy, the locator is run off the main motor(90 hp Johnson) starting battery. Those are the only 2 things on there so I will try disconnecting the motor and see if that helps. The strange thing is it’s only when I’m in water deeper than 25′, anything less than that it works great. I had a Humminbird 859 di hooked up the same way last year and had no issues but understand each unit is different and may be more sensitive to interference.
