If there is a better easier option of mounting it please share it for future projects. I have a lx7 I want to mount one to also.

It will poke a small hole in it but your not using lag bolts or cutting a big slit in the case to mount it.its just an option to mount it if you still want the original case without destroying it or getting a shuttle.

No I made a plate screwed that to the handle underneath the case then skrewed the glow ring mount thru the case into the plate I made. Works good and solid and didnt reck the case either the power switch is in the pocket on the side of the case then.

I just added a vexlar glow ring to my helix I like them better cause they will double as a rod holder.

Thanks for the info is there a better lighted lure out there a guy should try instead? Iv used light sticks on Lindy spoons and the cold water they seem to get real dim also.

I’m a more live bait type of guy but when I do need to use plastics you cant beat B Y baits they seem more realistic and have alot of different options to pic from.
