Aleb, thanks for that little bit of info, I will have to check into that. As for an avalanche, the roof I’m installing is a stone coated, shake style, 29 gauge metal which will not cause a snow slide. I do have a question about the application though, if anyone with experience in metal roofs knows the pro’s and con’s of installing battens or going with a direct to deck install?

aleb, that is news to me also. I have heard that a metal roof can lower your insurance premium but I never heard of it lowering your taxes. Can you explain?

by the hammies, any lingering blood runs to the head and not the meat, and the deer is in position to skin.

jon, I don’t know if you are near mile marker 101 off 90-94 but as of yesterday there was a beast like the one in your photo taking a dirt nap in the median. looked to be a bit ripped up but hard to tell at 70+ mph. it was a brute! pout

2-3 parts mayo, 1 part yellow mustard, fresh chopped garlic to taste. spread mix over flesh side of fillet, grill skin side down till done. 10mins. per inch of thickness. only fresh garlic, not that bottled schlit. you will lick the plate, guaranteed! please post how this works for you if you try it. pout

jigginrake, i understand your method but bigGuns post says to just cut at the tail end and pull, thats what threw me off. cutting along the entire lateral line makes sense, but just cutting at the tail sounds like a far better way if it works! pout

theGun, could you elaborate on that technique further? are the cuts on the in side of the fillet or the skin side? do you cut all the way through the fillet? straight cut or angle the blade? thanks,Pout

len, thanks for the reply and the reciepe site. your recipe calls for corned beef and the site reciepe calls for Beef, thats is why i questioned if any of the meat in the dish was cooked, assuming the corned beef was cooked. if you can clarify this i would be in debted to you. thanks
