IF I were you I would not use rgbw in your hut unless you have an outlet close by, they use an extreme amount of power I would use just natural white as it’s not too bright but it would be better

The spot I would start would be between M5 & N5 during the morning and work my way out as the day goes on

Thanks guys loving the inputs I love the sure-sets but it’s kind of a shame that they’re discontinued cause it was hard enough getting 2 packs in Ontario

Just bought the 5+ a couple weeks back haven’t had it on ice yet but wow is it clear. Got it for the dvr because who doesn’t wanna reminisce on that monster fish you pulled up.

When I go on ice fishing trips we usually bring 2 hockey pucks and will drill 2 holes not all the way through and have teams of 2 and play a cornhole type game

I haven’t fished with an Avid but when I was buying the mojo I did feel it in hand and the only difference I could fathom was the handle on the Avid is much bulkier and didn’t feel as nice in my hand. I am also not one for the tape on reel seats it

If you’re using 1/8-1/4 I’d go with a medium light St. croix mojo ice ive got one and love it but then again I don’t have a TUCR so I can’t speak for them but I do love my st croix.

I use a Duracell headlamp it’s a little bit heavier than the prezl or the others but it runs off AA batteries so you’re not forking our the $9 per battery for the small ones.

Thanks for the reply James, do you find that it is a must have with this unit or does the camera cooperate pretty well?
