I don’t want to say this time is different, but it may be. Banks and institutions are much more capitalized compared to the financial crisis. Right now this is not a fundamentally driven market downturn nor a credit crisis. I hope and believe the banks will work more with lenders regarding payment plans and furloughed payments. I believe we will be in this for awhile and it will hurt many financially, but I also believe we will have a quicker rebound once we see the light.

I think it’s very serious, it’s serious enough to likely put us into a recession much sooner then I’d like. The global economy will be in ruins and production down, jobs will be lost. Rates are low you say? Great, go refinance. Put that extra couple hundred into the market, oh wait.

I’m not worried about getting sick, the repercussions of the virus are scary and a reality.

Been going to Isla for years and always fish out of the legendary Bud N Mary’s Marina. We do offshore and flats but we spend 3 days fishing with Captain Jim Willcox. His speciality is fishing the Everglades national park for red, snook, Tarpon…the star Tribune has a great article on the experience. Jim is first class and a riot to fish with. He is the best Captain I’ve ever fished with. Just like anything you get what you pay for… you will find much cheaper but there is a reason, it’s typically a hobby Captain or less seasoned. PM me for note info or offshore options.
