Quite a few new 2190s already showing up, but that is the sharpest one I’ve seen so far. Saw a couple of the worst color combinations ever this weekend too.

Thanks Fife I think I dodged a bullet! One thing is for sure the new 2190 is a really nice boat!
Fife- I hope your not referring to mine?

My favorite color combos are black, silver, blue, and white, so I think you are good. Actually I need to take a closer look at yours. There may be a tie for the sharpest color combo yet.

I had kind of the same situation with a 125 2+2. Mine was always a hard starter until the jet that opens when the 2+2 kicks in stuck open. When that happened it started really easy (mostly because it was flooding) then it ran like crap, and smoked bad until you ran it wide open and cleaned it out. They were really inexpensive to replace and Id just do both of them to be sure.

Fife- you can use mine as long as I get all the prize money you make, and your hot spots on Mille Lacs! That is as long as you can settle for going only 59mph

You can have the prize money, but I can’t give you all of the Mille Lacs spots and 59 mph sounds a little slow. I was kind of hoping you would have all of your Lake of the Woods spots marked, so I could just run to them.

Apparently you havn’t looked at my tournament results from LOTW Have fun up there, wish I could have fit it into my schedule

See ya up at Winnie in a couple weeks

Yep, we’ll be there. I could use your boat this weekend on Lake of the Woods though because it sounds like we will be making a long run. I should be in Grand Rapids about 6 tonight. I’ll fill mine up with gas before I drop it off.

I have developed a bad habit while riding my FJR 1300! I get in trffic and I start thinking “What would the ghost rider do”? I really need to stop that! I will say this! If I could figure out how to pull the Skeeter behind the FJR I would have a lot more time to fish!

I bet there wont will be a transducer run to the front of the boat. usually the front graph is hooked to the bowmount trolling motor. If you want to use the transducer that is in the back of the boat it is pretty easy to run it up to the bow. You will get interferance when using both of those graphs at the same time however. If I had a Hds and no bow mount trolling motor, I would purchase another hds 5 and network them together so you can have both on at the same time and use only one transducer. I didn’t use a mounting kit, I went to the hardware store and bought some l brackets and made my own? Are you the guy wanting some prop info? If so pm me and I will give you some info on setup! I have owned two WX2000t so far, one with a 115 and one with a 150hp. Great Boats! Dan Larson

You have to unscrew the front bow panel. Then you will have to cut the vinyl trim where the depth finder sits. There is a wire that is powered from the rear power switch that you can power it with. It sounds a lot harder that it is. Should take maybe 15 minutes. Dan Larson

I had so much fun this year fishing the MTT I can hardly wait until April!! Anyone that wants to become a better Walleye fisherman should give it a shot. I have met some very nice people and they have given me quite an education on how to catch Walleyes. What I like the most is I can pick and choose which tournaments to fish and still have most of the summer for other things. It’s also very easy to qualify for the championship and fish for a brand new Skeeter!!

I tried silicone and the seats would tip over when you hit a big wave. The best thing I have found is never sieze. a little messy when the seat is out but works great and they dont magically pop out.

We go towards the end of July, we take our 17-20 foot Walleye boats. We use only 2 rods and we have always brought home our limit of fish. We stay in a log cabin at the campground. http://www.washingtonislandcamping.com they have a fish cleaning shack as well as a freezer for your fish. There is a really nice public harbor on the north east side of the island, we pull out of the harbor and drive half way accross to Rock island(half mile). We put our lines in the water and troll around Rock island. Even though you are on Lake Michigan it doesnt seem like big water do to the islands providing shelter from the wind. Some years it takes longer to get our fish but we always have had success. I have a picture of a guy downrigging out of a 12 foot lund with a 9.9 on the back. The island atmosphere is laid back, they have a few restraunts and a nice grocery store. There are no chain stores on the island. We consider it our getaway from the masses, the fishing areas are never crowed and the island is friendly. The only down fall to the island is getting to it, the ferry costs around $75 for a round trip with a truck and boat. We figure it is a small price to pay for a week of peace and once your on the island you really dont have to spend a lot to enjoy a week there. I could go on and on but would rather answer questions if people would ask them. Thanks Dan

I have a crankbait problem as well. I use two boxes, one is 5 inches deep the other is 8 inches deep. work great and are easy to take inside for security.

As different as the three hulls are I would say they ride about the same. The Warrior feels like a big boat, it seems harder to control backtrolling but worked great for trolling downriggers. The Ranger handled like a boat that is smaller than it really is. I really like the extra width inside that the Yarcraft offers. I have a 104c and a 25c mounted in my elec box. They just fit but I really like the smoke lexan cover for night trolling and for when my wife sprays on sun tan lotion. I also like the fact that they do not move. The new Yarcraft has a 150 Yamaha that will do 50 mph but will troll cranks all day long.(It needs a little help to get it to 1.8mph but it is easy and I don’t use socks to do it.) I think if you sat in all three it would be easier to make up your mind. They feel completely different and I think your fishing style will help you make your decision easier. On a side note I really like the new 2010 proguide but after having a glass ride I just cannot see myself going back to aluminum. Dan

I have owned a 2090 Warrior, a 620T, and now own a 2095BT. First of all one cannot go wrong by buying anyone of these boats. I would say the biggest differance between the three is the interior layout. The Warrior is at one extreme the Ranger at the other and the Yarcraft somewhere in the middle. Feel free to ask any questions and Ill give you my opinions. Dan

My wife had Lasik done about 3 months ago, when she went into the room to have the procedure she couldn’t even tell if there was a clock on the wall. Less than 10 minutes later she could read what time it said from across the room. She had it done in Maple Grove. Very close to Gander Mountain, and cabelas. They offer a free consultation to see if you are a good canidate, no pressure applied if you are. A little hint, over 80 % of there business is referals. My wife got a 50% off coupon from a friend of hers. The rest I got to put on my Cabelas card. I can almost see that pretty blue St croix rod! Her only regret is that she didn’t do it years ago. I used to own a 125 , I had to replace the fuel jets that open when the extra two cylinders fire. They dump extra gas into the cylinders for takeoff. I had one stick open so it would foul the plugs. If you put new plugs in and it still runs poor, try replacing them. Put both in because one will fail right after the other. I think they cost $18.
