I live on a small lake like this one. My included picture has a red circle where I would start looking. I am assuming that it is a relatively clear lake. To the left of circle is the start of the weed bed in the summer. In the circle is the 18 to 20 fow. This should put you on the edge of the dying weeds in the winter providing some structure for the fish prowl.

    Good luck.

I live in the Crosslake Area which is about 15 miles away from Emily. I have a small lake in my front yard and I walk out. There is about 15 to 17 inches of clear on ice with about 6 inches of snow on top of it. All the slush that was on top of the ice has frozen. Good luck fishing.

I ran across “Tight Line Extreme from Ice Hopper” on the Sportsmens Direct website and it look like a pretty nice reel. Does any one out there have any experience with this product. If it is good it is probably be my next purchase.

I have bought and sold many thinks with Pay-pal.

I had one person dispute a credit card bill that they had used to pay by Pay-pal.

I had proof of shipment and delivery of the item.

Scanned it and e-mail it to Pay-pal.

Ultimately it ended in my favor but it delayed me receiving my money by 90 days.

Just be warned that you are not out of the woods until you have the money in hand.

They should contact the White Earth Indians.

Didn’t they offer to build the Vikings a stadium for a block E casino.

Let the gamblers of the state pay for it, I’ll go fishing.

I live in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

    I was out fishing yesterday.

Caught a limit of crappies, not big, didn’t keep one (18 FOW).

Other than the trudge out on the lake through 1 ft. plus of snow.
There was 2 1/2 feet of ice to drill though underneath.

There is still good spring fishing out there.

When you can list it for free, both the buyer and sellers take a chance.

I have been on both sides of the table and you are taking a chance.

I bought a Showdown 3.2 from a guy in Eau Claire, Ws. sight unseen for $165. and had him mail it to me in Crosslake, Mn. 10 days after he deposited my check in the bank. I negotiated the price by e-mail.

It is all about how much are you willing to loose and do you trust in human nature.

I bought a used pontoon boat this way, but the boat I picked up in person.

There are may forms of scams out there, I am always careful,
    Good shopping.

If your are interested in traveling a little distance, you might want to try Crow Wing Autobody in Pequot Lakes, MN. They did a great job for me at a reasonable price. Talk to Greg.

Drop it off and fish for a few days.

We have plenty of ice up here.

This was not an ad grab. I retired to the Crosslake area 3 years ago and have a small lake in my front yard. I saw the camera referenced on another site I read. But there wasn’t much information there. I trust the opinion on this site.
