you likely have a stuck furnace fan. power should not come directly from the battery when plugged in. your converter should handle the power requirements of the furnace or AC with a dead battery.
I got it in 2013 3 days before 1st season shotgun in Iowa. the right side of my face went numb, and I could not blink my shooting eye. I shot a couple deer using my left eye. HAHA I shoot a 45-70 and I don’t think it affected my situation at all. It took about a year before I improved to the point that you couldn’t tell I had had it. I have for the most part fully recovered. I still have a numb spot in my lower lip, and my right eye waters more than the left. (Especially outdoors in the wind.)
I know a couple other that have had it, and their recovery is similar to mine.
I did take the anti-viral medication, but there’s really no proof that is helps.
Good luck, time is your friend
.
I will add, it is a very scarry ordeal to go thru!
Make sure you don’t have one of those under the sink vents. I’ve seen these stick open and allow smells into you house. Usually located right after the P-trap.
Most lithium battery manufacturers recommend a 50% to 75% charge during cold storage. The biggest concern is parasitic draw. You need to make sure the batteries are fully disconnected to prevent discharge. One of the biggest killer of lithium batteries is discharge below 8%. Lots of bad things can happen at this point, and will need a special charger to recover them. Sometimes they are not recoverable!
Good quality Lithium batteries will operate your trolling motor and other electronics down to 5 deg. With no issues. Low temperatures come into play when charging. You must get your battery temperature above 32 degrees and preferably 35 degrees for them to take a charge. Batteries with heaters built in simply turn on the heater as soon as you plug in. Once the battery reaches charging temperature the charging process begins.
Jared, just some basic rules to follow when replacing wet cell batteries with lithium. I will assume you have 3 group 31 deep cycle battery’s currently. Each group 31 has approximately 90 AH of power in them. Approximately 50% is usable before the voltage drops to low for your motor to run. So currently you have ~135 AH with your 3 group31’s. With lithium you use something over 90% of the available AH rating of the battery. So if you use 3 50 AH lithium batteries your usable power will be 135AH similar to the three group 31’s.
3 group 31’s = 45×3=135AH. (90AH x 50% = 45AH)
3 50AH lithium = 45 x 3 = 135AH. (50AH x 90% = 45AH)
If you’re happy with the available power of your group 31’s, go with 3 50 AH lithiums. If not spend the money on 100AH batteries. (270 AH with 3 100 AH)
I thought I for sure knew what this lure is called so I told the Belle would give her $100 if she knew what it was.
Well she came up with a guess that blindsided me and I think I lost.So we agreed that I could throw it out here on IDO where all the experts hang out.
(BTW – I pre-warned her of some of the responses we may receive )Sooo — what is this lure called?
hula popper
It doesn’t change much. I didn’t need to adjust anything on my 1850 Tyee with roller trailer
It’s all about the AMP hour ratings. If you get one 24v instead of two 12 volts in series the size of the battery may not work well in your boat. it just depends on what kind of space you can create in your battery compartment. Most boats are configured to accept two group 31 batteries. For instance, my Lund has one battery under each council. For me to put just one 24-volt lithium in there I don’t have enough space for a 24v 100-AH hours battery under one side. There are companies that make a 24v 60 AH that has the footprint of a group 31, however i do not believe 1 60 AH battery is enough power for most boats. Therefore 2 12-volt lithium batteries seems to be the best option in most cases.
If you never want to worry about running out of battery power use two 12v 100 AH batteries in series. It is simply amazing!
You will be very happy with 125 AH. Once you go lithium you will never go back. Make sure you understand how to manage your lithium system and it will consistently outperform all other other types of batteries.
Hey Duchman, I actually have good knowledge of lithium batteries because i sell them to the RV industry. Currently we are not selling into the Marine market, but the technology is the same.
Your average Group 27 deep cycle battery has approximately 80 amp hour of power. One of the biggest differences between Lithium and wet batteries is the useable power in them. an 80 amp hour wet cell battery will give you about 35 amp hours of useable power. An 80 amp hour lithium will give you 75 amp hours of useable power. If you have 2 group 27 wet cell deep cycle batteries currently, and want similar performance, you should shoot for something over 70 amp hours in lithium. Personally, i would try to get something over 100 AH and improve your situation. You will also need a new charger with a lithium setting. Noco makes a great lithium charger in their Genius Genpro.
I was delayed in Atlanta a couple weeks ago because someone’s “service dog”pooped all over the plane! The flight attendant told us it ran up and down the isles and the poop was not scoopable! They had to get us a different plane!
I have the lodge insulated an anything above 10 deg Low is to high. Plan to get one of the little round ones.
Bring it to the top one time, I am willing to drop price slightly $225 firm
Buddy and I Spent Sunday to Wednesday on the south end. Caught walleyes every day including 3 keepers, and 2 over fish. Lots of perch and small 12” walleyes. Moved around some and had best luck just offfirts break. Bayview bar provided cold beer and tabs, pretty much had the lake to our selves. Brandt started letting wheel houses out so I expect it will be busy from now on. Retired now so heading up again next week.
Mark, I purchased snow deer lithium rechargeable Sox’s. They work really good. On low they last 10 hours. I have not needed a higher setting yet.
I agree, I have a place on the south shore and have always been able to catch some fish from shore in the fall. Not a single fish this year in the 4or5 times I tried
Just purchased a new lift for our pontoon last spring. We were told grey seems to hold up the best and doesn’t show stains & mildew. We will see?
Walleye vision I just saw your add as well. HAHA! Great units, I am just upgrading to a Helix WITH MEGA Imaging.
