Did nothing there ????
Sorry, not sure why it didn’t go through…sent you another.

Perhaps the limitations were put in place so the Elite can’t swamp all the other recreational fisherman out on GB. Lord knows they have done it to me on pool 10 Bassholes
LOL, this is so typical.

Sounds like your timer switch is done.
Do you know where that would be located? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
This site is still the same. Guys that decide to form their own opinion depending on the species of fish. “I don’t fish for bass, so who cares, kill them all.” There would be a lot of different opinions from many different people here if it were walleyes or muskies…oh and catfish (sorry BrianK). Maybe we should all just grow up and learn to have an intelligent conversation sometimes about the topic at hand, regardless of what species it is? That’d be nice for a change. The segregation of “bass guys”, “walleye guys”, and so on is overwhelming and unfortunately nothing has changed here over the past several years.

You have proven the “elite” tag very well… I can think of another word to describe self promoted elitists… also… in addition… starts with an A and ends with a hole… Hope you can decipher that grammar Elite… right…
Do you think things through before you post? Have you been drinking or do you just naturally go around and criticize something you know absolutely nothing about?
The IQ of those who read that just went down.

This is what happens when an agency such as the WDNR is run by politicians and not scientists. To boot, the WDNR has proven over the years to be anti-tournament and tournament anglers. We are continually treated poorly by the WDNR. The decision to limit the waters BASS Elite guys can fish is no surprise here.
Thanks, this pretty much sums it up.

Ummmmm… Who cares? I read it. Did I miss something?
Obviously.
That’s right, blame the bass guys. We stand for all that is wrong in tournament angling.
What a joke.
Not a bad salary for someone that hasn’t pitched anywhere in two years. The A’s fans will get to watch him sit on the bench and chew his nails all season.

I am glad that they showed up to play. You can’t win a game when you turn the ball over that many times.
We won’t see that again for a long time unless we can find a good QB.
What a great season!
Does Favre retire?
or running back.

Well I was planning on it but the people I’ll be fishing with this weekend want to go somewhere else…
Looks to be some nasty weather this weekend also so shouldn’t be too many people there.
I have got a bunch of calls from a number of IDO’ers that said they will be there…don’t know their handles on here though. They apparently must not melt in the rain?

BTW -and MAYBE beer (working on it) served after the tournament.
Beeeeeer!
Unfortunately we were not able to obtain a license from the village of Stoddard for beer (long story), but feel free to bring your own. There are no rules against drinking out on the ice or after the tournament…we would just like to be sure any mess is not left behind.
Another thing that I might add and have had calls on about are the core prizes…they ARE limit one per contestant. In other words, if you have a 1st place perch and a 3rd place crappie, it is your discretion which prize you want…but we can guess what the choice would be.
Boundaries are basically the “box”. From the landing out towards the main channel to the rock island, then goes as far north as the rocks on the north side of the “box” by the by boat houses on the north end of town.
Here are the rules in full for clarification. I’ve also included the entry form if anyone wants to print that off, fill it out, and just bring it to us in the morning rather than filling it out the morning of the tournament.
Hey guys, I’ve had a couple calls regarding the policy on keeping fish alive for the weigh-in. Our rules state nothing about keeping the fish alive to weigh in. HOWEVER, if a fish looks as though it’s been frozen for a long period of time, we will NOT allow it to be weighed in. This is by the discretion of our weigh master. In other words, try to weigh your fish as soon as you can. This is also advantageous for the angler because time of weigh-in is the tie-breaker on same sized fish (which we had happen last year). Hope to see you guys there…should be a good time.
BTW – forgot to mention we will be having hot dogs/hot cider/soda and MAYBE beer (working on it) served after the tournament.
I’ve heard that it’s been hit or miss and it’s best to stay away from the crowds. We’ve just learned that Cabela’s has graciously donated some more door prizes for this event. Should be some good door prizes being handed out afterwards including new ice rods (St. Croix included), gift certs, jigs and other great prizes! Need to be present to win.
He’s going to like it for the first two running plays…then when he gets undercut with those knees striding so high, he’ll tear his ACL and Favre will be back to mediocrity again .
Any early predictions on the first rivalry game in the Metrodump?
Vikes 27
Pack 21
I think the Packers will come back and win the following game in Lambeau though…
Packers 35

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure the Queens would’ve benefited greatly by spending a 1st round pick on a QB…he could’ve been an understudy for the year. Look at Rodgers now…came out throwing 4000 yds his first year starting.
