Texas rigged craw tube – black/blue or watermelon. Largemouth, smallmouth, deep or shallow, all year long.

I don’t think there any 12 volt trolling motors with spot lock.

I am now finishing 3 years of using my Ion (100 + holes), and under normal usage, I have not experienced the issue you have. I put a ruler to it and it appears very round yet. I am going to grab a larger caliper at work this week and check it more precisely, but I’ll bet it’s going to confirm everything is good. You may have gotten one with a defect, but I think it is an isolated one. I know multiple owners and none have had this issue.

If you like bass fishing it can be pretty good. Nothing huge, but numbers. Crooked is nice to get out of the wind and kind of scenic. Hank is okay and Portage can be good if you can get in to it.

I am very interested in a step system like this. The price is very competitive. I have a Ranger trailer. I would like to discuss further – thanks

I have a Cabela’s inflatable life jacket. Had the jacket off, laying by the console when a squall came thru. Probably rained an inch in 20 minutes and then the sun came out. 10 minutes later I was still up front casting when I heard this load “pop”. Thought something blew in the battery compartment. Went back to check and saw the jacket had inflated. I won’t run in the rain with it anymore, but still use it.

“Walleye fishermen and bass fishermen are two different kinds of fishermen,” Lyback said. “Walleye fishermen tend to stay a couple of days. They bought bait. They’d go to restaurants. They put a little more money in the area.

“Bass fishermen, by the time they show up, they have everything they need in their tackle box.” Eddy Lyback

I am a little confused by Mr. Lyback’s comment about bass fisherman. I go on bass fishing trips and stay overnight. I like to eat and go to restaurants/bars. I also need to fill my Ranger with 40 gallons of gas now and than, along with my pickup that I need to haul it with. I have been to Florida and Texas and have employed guides for bass fishing. The only thing different is I don’t buy live bait, but if you had the “hot” color of tube for Mille Lacs, I would buy it. I guarantee I “put money in the area”.
