You were running a 18 pitch on that boat? What kind of speeds could you get out of it? I am down to a 15 pitch & could still go lower according to my tach.

I have tried a few diffrent props & it has gotten better but not great. The boat is rated for 150 & I think it needs the power to get it out of the water. If anyone has found a prop that will make it work better I would try that.

I made the original post to see what others thought of the deal, not to throw a buisness under the bus. I just wanted to make sure that I was not being hard to deal with. The dealer did send me a email today & said they are going to look into it for me so there is hope. IF the dealer wants to get on here & tell there side of the story thats fine with me.

I really hate to put there name out there until I am sure that the owner of the dealer has seen this & had a chance to fix the problem, thats why I said if anyone knows the name of the owner of a dealer in the Mn area that has about four locations please let him know.

Maybe I should just walk in & take one off of a boat & leave with it? I have been there more than once & all I get is alot of broken promices. I guess you think that if I cant force a deal out of them then its my fault?

I believe that every reply I get on a post like this adds to my chances of getting results. I guess its up to them to decide if the negative they get out of this is worth more or less than the cost of a new top? I do know that if I had read this I would not be buying a $20,000 boat from the place.

I have sent them a link to this fourum, maybe they will catch on & come around. If anyone knows the owner of the dealer (he has a few lund dealerships around the cities in MN.) maybe you can send him a link to this also? I really think its probable a bad salesman & manager that are the problem.

He did make a note of it on the receipt but that dont mean much to me, I am old school & believe if someone says something they do it. I believe that there is way to much legal mumble jumbo in the world & it would all be better if people just did what they said they would. It would make the diffrence between a post like this & one saying that XXX dealer steped up & did the right thing.
