We were up Tues til Saturday the 9th. We fished Lobstick 2 days with lots of action bass, pike & walleye. found them in 10′ or less. Did snag an unmarked Native net, NICE!. Fished down dead broke area and found the fish scattered but most in 30’+. Did get my best Canadian eye at 31.5″ out of 50′! Caught most eyes b.bouncing w/ gulp crawler. Otherwise we were casting gulp or shad raps. We had great weather, my buds up at our cabin this week, fishing slowed and weather was horrible!! Another group coming in tomorrow, hope they have better weather, can’t wait to get back up! DL

I fished WFB a bit this past summer. I use to fish it quite a bit but it is tough w/ the clear water. I did some deepwater trolling for big eyes but only managed a 38″ pike. I also did some bouncing at a couple hotspots from the past and managed a few nice eyes around 20″. My biggest Canadian eye came from WFB. Dark, windy & stormy days you can find the eyes up on the reefs snapping. If its too nice you might have to head few miles north and hit Yellow girl or Long bay areas. Good luck!! Dennis

I’m not quite an old timer but I believe the resort your thinking about was on the East side in Musky Bay? It’s condos now. Dennis

Awesome fish- looks longer than 31.5″!! I still like the photo of the one from last year, caught by a guy that works at Cabelas. That was a great photo of a hog!!! Dennis

I have a place in Sioux Narrows on LOTW. We have everything but indoor toilet. Also nice sand beach, boat ramp, fishhouse etc. Sleeps 6 easy, also has deck and screen room. Fishing is great all year but my favorite time would be August. Early to mid June can be great within mile of cabin. We’re on Lobstick bay- if you have a map. I usually head out to Yellow Girl are (approx. 20 miles) or Whitefish Bay for the big ones! I’m looking to get 2 or 3 groups to come up each year (regulars). I’m willing to discount rent as I’m just trying to get a little money to defray costs and upgrade (electric toilet) etc. If you’ve never been on LOTW you will love it once you get used to it- it’s huge!!! Would also consider a swap such as day or 2 on pool 4!! Check out my site for idea on my rental. lyberghomes.com
    Thanks! Dennis
