Yeah I think the payouts were a little over 60-65%. Does that sound right?

I had a 320 bottomline and I had trouble with it, so I returned it and got a Eagle fishmark 320 and didnt have any problems. It was nice when it was working. Just hope you get a good one.

Ive also heard of using the right size surgical tubing and threading the senko throught that and hooking in the middle. The hook is even the right direction for NORTY!

Just saw some at Gander today in Onalaska. They are pretty similar, they are made by musky innovations I think. The package says the original chatterbait. They look pretty darn close. They have lots of them by the sonar gps display for 7.99. I’m still on the fence about them so I’ll wait for now.

GAMMA GAMMA GAMMA. Ive got gamma Flouro(the $28 dollar stuff) on my flippin worm rod and to date I have not broken off any on a hookset. I’m in same boat as D-Nort, I have tried many including the 30 # braid, and I have lost way to many nice fish due to the shock of the initial hookset. I got a great post from another board about someone talking about this same subject, he uses what he calls the jerk test, but this rotten board doesnt allow you to cut and paste so if someone is looking for a good read, PM me and I will get you the link. From what I have found personally the Gamma has the best impact strength. I have also started using the gamma copolymer and like it so far. Cheap price to, $10 for 17#test.

So you bought the banana boat from Alabama. If you need a prop for that thing I still got mine. It pushed my 210 to 82.7. Let me know if your interested. I sent my Blazer packing. It got lonely waiting for everyone else to show up at the lock after takeoff, so I got a Stratos instead. You might want to get a second job to pay for the gas that 250 is going to guzzle this summer.

My Blazer floats shallow, seems to get around real well in the shallows. Lighter boat than some.

Was fishing a wing dam up on 6 during catfish days and the smallies were absolutely bustin shad with stripers of course. Caught lots of both, unfortunately none of the smallies were legal. Few were very close, but it was fun nonetheless. Talked to a buddy who fished it earlier than we did and he caught 2 dandys off of it. We were using chug bugs and spinnerbaits to harrass them. Hopefully smallies will start to show up like that more often. Rivers picking up!

Partner and I took 15th with 12.34. The bite was definately better than it has been. Just over eighteen pounds won it. Their biggest was a 4.85 largey. The winning bag was caught out of the lake. Eel grass with balls of shad swimming around the open pockets was the key. Spinnerbaits and brush hogs were the bait for the day. We caught alot of fish but we just didnt have any size to place in the money. Good turn out and a good time.

I think you guys might enjoy these pictures for all you snake lovers out there. This happened last summer, one of the warmest weekends of the year, I took the wife and kid out to the sand bar for the afternoon, and messed around there for a couple hours. This was on pool 7 and after we left the sand bar we decided to head down to dresbach dam and turn around and come back well on the way down river I just happened to look back and I saw something moving around my hydraulic steering cables and low and behold I had the camera with…..check out what I saw hangin on for dear life!
