I just caught the last couple of minutes. What was Fleck so jacked up about while they were running the victory formation? Doesn’t he have faith in his players to do that?

I wish I had the answer. If you want this to end you need to work on the demand side and make employers face real consequences for hiring undocumented workers. On the other hand we eat because of these workers. They do handle a lot of the food we eat at some point.
You guys who are ready to burn these people or put a bullet in them, do you feel the same way about the youth pastor in Duluth who was raping girls for years while his pastor parents covered up for him?
I have a Leupold 2×7 shotgun scope on my 12 ga 870. I was having trouble getting it sighted in and figured out that it took a shot to move the crosshairs. Now I bump the stock on the bench and tap on the scope near the adjustment knobs after I make an adjustment. I have also shot a round of cheap birdshot through it after an adjustment. This apparently does happen on some scopes.
Stanley Cup championships: Las Vegas-one, State of Hockey-zero. #Loserville.
I think it would be hard to pay off land based on leasing it for hunting alone.
I just listened to a podcast talking about this. It is centered on Montana and Landtrust. It was the two episodes dated May 30th. They were even talking about charging for mushroom hunting.

I don’t think there is any stopping this. It is also probably not good for hunting in the long term when people are priced out of it – particularly young people. How big is this going to get? Will these companies get big enough to lobby government for policies that help them?
I have some good land. If someone offered me enough for lease or to sell, I could see myself doing that. Everything is for sale, but you might not like the price.
So was there a no age limit for crossbow hunting during archery season attached to this as well?
My understanding is that it did get attached. The wolf hunt ban and eliminating the slug zone did not make the final bill.
I went into the Alexandria store a few weeks ago and the ammo department was a disorganized mess just like it was around Christmas. I also thought their prices were high.
There is still not a great abundance of 20 gauge out there either.
Like someone mentioned, companies seem to be raising prices just to see if they can squeeze more out of us. Not just ammo companies and consolidation has made it easier.
I wear a Coast Guard approved float coat for my cold weather boat and even ice fishing early and late.
North Dakota Game and Fish just launched an app. The home page gives some weather, including wind and sunrise/sunset times. I can show my licenses, permits, boat registrations…etc… to the game warden right from the app. I could add a spouse or kids on there also. I can buy licenses, sign up for lotteries, and register harvest there also. There are links to maps, regs, and links to their social media on there. MN has a lot of catching up to do.

6.99$ for 2 3/8oz tungsten roundball jigheads from Northland Tackle.May as well drive down to the river toss a couple 20$ bills in and then head home,be cheaper then fishing with them.Thankfully as your jig prices increase, your fuel costs will diminish with bill HF946 banning all gasoline powered outboards by 2026. This bill is not to be confused with HF945b. which bans the use of hooks under 7″ in length to help save loons.
I just looked 945 and 946 up. They do not do those things and are not even related to them.
There is the thread about the Packers and them having a settled quarterback situation for 30 years. This got me to thinking. How long has it been since the Vikings have had a string of years with a really good solid starting quarterback with a long-term future with the team? Culpeppper? Wilson, Kramer? Tarkington? I think we can agree that Cousins ain’t it.
Crushed Ritz crackers and a good quantity of garlic pepper. Egg wash and then in the crackers. Drizzle a little melted butter on them and bake at 400 for 13 minutes.
Over 200 including shipping for the CCI. I think it was 88 for the Remington.
I liked this show that she did on late life decisions. https://www.tpt.org/late-life-a-conversation-with-atul-gawande/
With 11 of their wins coming by one score there was some luck in play. They really are close to being a .500 team.

My pet peeve is the slug zone. With the ammo situation and straight wall cartridges that many other states have legalized, it is time for a much-needed makeover if not elimination.Didn’t this come up in recent years? I feel like it did, and then didn’t pass.
I general odd numbered years are budget years and even numbered are bonding and policy. 2020 was messed up by Covid. This is the kind of thing that is done in an omnibus bill that deals with DNR type of stuff. It was in the omnibus bill last year, but the clock ran out before they could pass it and they never called a special session. There is a bill in the senate this year, but I am really not expecting much to happen till next year.

I will say I have a friend who has taken the a few of the 5mg THC gummies. He has occasional nights with little sleep due to work and takes a half a one to catch up the next night. He is able to get a good night’s sleep and feels well rested the next day.
I got a Jiffy Torch/Dewalt drill combo and am really happy with it. Kind of an accidental purchase.
The deer kill in my unit remained essentially unchanged when youth/early antlerless was added. A person can shoot 6 deer now.
I might look into shooting another deer next year to be made into sticks, brats, summer sausage…etc…but I will definitely shop around and make sure that it is worth it.
Are older hunters losing some of their steam?
West Central – old zone 4. Probably too many deer. Browse lines are noticeable in the trees. Near me there is some sanctuary and a neighbor with quite a bit of land who hunts little if at all. Some neighbors are waiting for big bucks and I don’t know how many does are getting harvested. Not near the shooting there used to be. Is the cost of processing a factor?
I don’t know why they even sell the 32 degree stuff around here but I have seen it at Wal Mart.
5 rounds are being sold for about the price of a box of 20 regular rifle cartridges. 5+ dollars every time you squeeze the trigger. Now more people will be going out without sighting in properly or practicing. The slug market is becoming smaller and smaller as more state enact straight-wall regs. It is overdue to at least make straight-wall rifles legal.
Can we get rid of the slug zone or at least allow straight-walled rifles as more and more other states are? This is getting ridiculous.
I have heard Lemon Joy works. I just haven’t needed to give it a try in recent years.
