Jiffy and nils auger owners aren’t dumb enough to run over their augers. sounds like a case of neglect to me

I like my Oakley half jackets with the XLJ lenses. They are so light you can’t feel them on your face and with the inter-changeable lenses it allows you to switch for different lighting or water conditions. they may not be as specifically geared towards fishing as costa del mar or maui jim in there lens selection but i still have no problem finding lenses that fit my needs. Either way there are alot of good quality optics out there i just prefer oakleys because of the comfort and versatility of not having to own 3-4 pairs of sunglasses.

LMAO funny how some guys say one thing in a certain post, and completely contradict themselves in another post. HA that’s hilarious.

And Nick, I would watch yourself before you start making accusations of cheating. That’s a pretty big statement. Remember where it got you last time

OK a few things here, what am i contradicting? I have shared the same views on cheating all along. and o refresh my memory of where it took me last time IMHO

Does this answer your question? Even in junior tournaments there is apparently cheating, this is not to mention a member who blows off the no cull rule

I agree, there are a lot of great trailers out there, I mostly use a grub but have been known to experiment with a lot of different trailers, when he said with the tail down and on the seem i figured he was talking about a grub so thats why i brought up a grub.

If you hook the tail up on the seem will the jig tend to rise up and not run completely horizontal but more of a vertical rising action? when i use grubs on my jigs i always run them tail down but i could see that if you could get more of a vertical rise or keep the bait closer to the surface with the tail up that that could benefit in some situations like fishing over submerged grass or other vegetation…

I guess it is kind of a obvious when fishing in states that have no regulations on culling that you would go ahead and catch a limit and then start looking for fish to upgrade your sack with. But in a state like wisconsin where you are trying to follow the regulations what would be the best way to go about bringing in a large limit. which fish do pass up in hopes of catching a large limit for that tournament? When you are selecting fish that are going to get you a limit right away then its a little tough to upgrade legally… am i right or are we all just out there breaking the laws I guess thats how some of us think were so good…

    Baitcaster,
If this is the way the the DNR would like to go about running small or even large tournaments where you need to purchase a permit for restocking then you should be allowed to cull fish with this permit also, correct. it is basically the same principle releasing fish that have been kept in an artificial habitat for hours and then releasing them or “restocking them.” there are a lot of screwed up things that are going on with tournament fishing right now, When the dnr figures out what they want to do i guess we will all know… yeah right! Dan this sucked that it happened to you but as far as you knew you were doing everything legal, its the unwritten laws that will get you every time. what a crock.

Signs are good but why not trash cans? That way there would be absolutely no excuses for littering, Not there are any good reasons for it with out trash cans. I would think that the proper combination of signs and trash cans in the right places would dramatically cut down on the littering. I know that i always bring anything that came out with me back with me and usually pick up after my fellow anglers. I carry a small trash can in my boat that usually comes back at least half full. Theres my 2 cents

very tragic indeed, my prayers go out to the family. I would put money on it that the boat would not have gone down had the rope been attached to the bow instead of the stern, that way the current would not have pulled it under… sad story in deed!

what type of vehicle is it? i know that slop had a dodge, if he had the same problem then i think we might be on to something. my buddy has a Chrysler, and the trailer lights on his trailer don’t work and we tried pulling my boat with his vehicle and we had the same problem. Chrysler me have a problem with their wiring, i would check the vehicle…
