I went to the river yesterday, and caught a carp, 4 rock bass, and a ton of creek chubs and shiners. I found a dead catfish on the bank, but couldn’t seem to catch any live ones. Thanks for tips though!

Caught a decent 25 inch carp yesterday on some pack-bait.

Caught a nice steelhead trout while still in Oscoda Mi. Caught it under a bridge in the Au sable river.

I am going ice fishing for some pike Saturday Morning. It looks like a cold one, but I will go out in cold weather no matter what to catch some fish. I will be fishing a shallow tributary river that connects to a bigger river. The bigger river isn’t frozen, but the smaller one is and it holds some pike! Set a few tip-ups and go jigging.

Ok. I will definitely try a hot dog for some pike. I have only used hot dog when I fish for Catfish.
