The guys from Clam were showing how to put it up and take it down at the ice show, I couldn’t get over how easy it looked.

Steve – check out Sun Country Airlines . They fly charters out of the HHH terminal and you can find some good prices.

Ice Busters are the best bobbers for winter IMHO. And there aren’t expensive. Easy to take off line too without retying.

    Agreed

! what would of happened if i was a father and son and the kid got nervous and started screaming?

They would have both gotten mauled. I seen you said you have raised them, but IMO they have no place on this planet. Pitbulls, not dogs in general.

    Joe-
How heavy were you jigging? Was it constantly, or just subtle

Love fishing with my dad and his FL18. Bobber down, has to pull that transducer out or else it will get tangled in that styrofoam. My LX2- leave ‘ducer in the hole, no worries, baby!!

Oh! and welcome to the site!

So you you’ve got a Fl 20 and an LX5 for instance. With the proper gain set and tuning of the Lx5’s interference rejection, you could can fish them out of the SAME hole. but boy that would certainly be a mess

BIG mess- that dumb hunk of foam Vex puts on their units would get in the way even worse than it normally does

I have the Cabelas 6 combo bag you mentioned in the first post. It’s made by Croxton and I have had decent luck with it. At first I wasn’t too crazy about it, but have gotten used to it and I like it now. I think 6 combos is pushing it though, I have 5 in mine and it is pretty tight

Weirdest thing ever happened today. After talking about Gruden and his visor the other day, I recieved a package in the mail from my brother in Sarasota, FL today. 2 weeks ago, he went to Tampa for the Saints/Bucs game, and I told him to get me a Bucs tshirt. Well, that was in the package, along with a Bucs visor like the one Gruden used to wear. Never told him to get me one, either. So weird.

Unlike Scott, I don’t think I would wear mine in the winter

I have the bigger one. The lights have either off/on but the fan has a hi/low setting. I like it, it throws off good light. The battery compartment likes to fall off, so I wrapped electrical tape around it and will just have to do that everytime I replace the batteries.

I bought mine 3 years ago I think. You might wanna check around at some mom n pop bait shops. All the chain retailers have certainly gone to the new velcro style.

They made the single hook on the right, the one that you attach to portable poles, with velcro

James- The “new” Frabill hooks he is referring to look like the one I have in the pic, but they replaced the single hook with velcro. They hang in the shanty on the poles, you can put your coat, tackle bag, rod bag, etc on them.

Yep, I ALWAYS unbuckle the seat belt and roll windows down. I don’t care if its 100 below zero out, if I go in, I am getting out.

Last time they did this, I really liked the moose one. Wish that was a choice this time as well.

Ice fishing theme would have been nice, too

One thing I have always noticed about glow jigs, is the fact the length of glow time sure isn’t very long. I have heard pink or red last the longest, but none seem to last all that long.
