17 pitch 4 blade update….44 mph at 5540 rpms. Solid hole shot and handled great for picking away at larger rollers–very responsive.

Still looking to borrow a 19 pitch SS. Will keep you posted

The 19 pitch tempest is on my shortlist right now….sounds like that is the prop most are using.

Motor is mounted 2nd hole from the top at this time. Certainly a consideration to move up. I believe the last time we were out up on plane the cavitation plate was out of the water but will double check. Thanks for the input!

Have had a chance to run the boat with a 4 blade aluminum 19 pitch prop. 5000 rpm.s with 43 mph. Great hole shot and good bite with the prop cornering. I would think switching to 3 blade will do the trick to get my rpm.s up?

Going to try a 4 blade 17 pitch this coming week (have one in the garage already)

2023 Brand New Boat carry-over. Drive to the dealer is over 5 hours….I feel like I can deal with this at the end of the season with ease.

Found the second valve this morning digging around. It appears the hose must have a leak between the 2 valves….gonna need to be a winter project i believe. Not to terribly difficult i dont think but may need an extra set of hands and long arms.

I recently had a similar issue….Ended up being a bad transducer. Might be worth a check at your end.

Correct….I have the new power steering that was created for Evinrude. I like it a bunch more over tyhe Mercury Power steering.

I have run the 205 Tiller with a Yamaha 115, Mercury Verado 200 and currently with a Etec G2 150.

The yamaha was a fine motor for that hull. Great hole shot and top end was around 34 mph. Great on gas. Trolled amazing.

The Mercury was a beast. 50 mph WOT. Was a pig on fuel. Didnt troll great without assistance of a drift sock

The etec has been my favorite so far. The power steering is amazing. 43 mph top speed. Trolls great and is as fuel efficient as the yamaha.

If you look back at some of my previous posts I think there will be some good info for you. Cheers
