The windmill is a nice landing, but that’s why I wrote “unless you have a boat that you can float on and crank onto the trailer”.

Usually I can idle up and get my drotto to click without using too much of the engine, but I was yelled at for even starting the motor after having it parked at the dock. One of the young men was very helpful and I tipped him accordingly. I wish I would have known how strict it would have been before I used this launch because I never would have tried it.

Just used the launch about 10 minutes ago! Plenty Deep and looks awesome!

Thanks everyone for keeping us updated!

Has anyone checked it out to make sure it’s a lot deeper? I don’t want to be the guinea pig with my prop! Lol

I would not recommend the windmill, unless you have a boat that you can float on and crank onto the trailer. I launched there last weekend and I have a Drotto latch, which cannot be cranked on because I have a heavy fiberglass boat. I use my motor to idle up to my trailer and they had an absolute fit! I knowingly had to break the rules and power on just a bit to get it to latch. 4 people came running out of the dock house screaming at me. Needless to say I got the boat loaded, but I will not be going back.

Thank you for posting this and letting us know! Looking forward to seeing the new ramp. Tight lines!

Drove by yesterday. Black top is down. No lines painted yet. Looks really nice and is much bigger.

So that means it’s not open I’m assuming?

Any word on the Ramp? I was hoping to use it in the morning.

All you guys that go out in cold water. How do you get the water out of your impeller for the drive home? Last year I went out early and had to replace my impeller because the water froze inside it. I put the motor down and drained it all the way at the ramp, but some was still in there I guess. Just curious.

Wow that’s pretty good to hear that you can go that fast!

I like the look of yours, I didn’t know they could order the solara model separate. I will have to ask my guy at SBC in Ramsey. I don’t mind mounting it myself. Thanks.

I just ordered a new 2060. This is exactly what I need.

Do you mind sharing Approx what the cost was?

Also, what speed can you go with it deployed or stowed upright? Can it handle bouncing in rough water?

I love mine! My eyelet is too far to reach from the bow on my Lund, so the drotto is a MUST if fishing alone. 3 years and very happy! Get one!
