Got it tested last night. Did it the way you guys described grounding all the wires. 3 had spark and 1 did not.i switched the coils and the no spark followed. Picked up a coil today after work and put it in and had good spark on all of them. Now to test it out the weekend! Appreciate all the help from you guys on here!

Just out of curiosity why don’t you want it to start if you leave the plug wires on the plug and you have muffs on? Was going to save a trip to the store if it’s possible to do it that way?

I pull a similar weight rig with the v6 durango and haven’t had any issues at all.

Ok thanks for the info! I am off to buy some new batteries for the Trolling motor and I’ll be ready to go. Hnd where does the excelon pump water out is it in front of the facility? I usually fish from around there up to the upper end of beaver channel.

Thanks for posting this! That video was a eye opener. I fish by myself alot and never wear a pfd but I will be now. Just ordered one on sale from cabelas. I will also be using the kill switch from now on whenever running. Thank you.

Ok thanks. Yeah it’s similar to that one in the pic, just a different brand. That’s a good idea to take it off. I haven’t actually seen how bad the original is as I bought it like that. It just has 1 and a half holding it on don’t really want to risk it hitting the prop if it falls off.

Took it to a mechanic today the hose was just a vent. He believes the coil is bad and only running on 3 cylinders after he tested it.

So I took it to a mechanic today and he says he thinks it’s a coil after testing. Hopefully won’t run me too much. He ordered the part today so will be without boat for a few days anyway.

Ok thanks I’m thinking maybe fuel like your saying. I pumped the bulb and thought I heard a little air. It also hasn’t been getting as hard as normal. Also do you know if there is a vent on top of the oil resevoir I knocked it and a hose fell out of the opening? Thanks for the replies!

Also there is a 90 degree elbow coming out the top of the oil reservoir and I found about a 5 inch piece of clear pipe. looked like it should be connected to it?

I actually just got it about a month ago it’s been running fine up until tonight.so not really sure about the fuel line. Although it didn’t seem to be priming great.

Ok thanks. I have noticed the bulb hasn’t been getting as firm as normal. Maybe could be the issue? Sorry kind of a newbie with this stuff.

Thanks for the replies! I have a question about fishing flats. Are you casting to structure or on the edge of the flats. just would like to know what I should be looking for.

Ok thanks. That sounds like a fun way to catch them. I will have to give it a go. Water is still flowing pretty good around here.
